現代語訳
一、同（天明）四辰年二月、宣明院様御供方に加え仰せ付けられ、席は御厩別当の上に成し下され候事。
一、同年十月、当務を仰せ付けられ候以来、引き通し皆勤し、出精致し候段を仰せ出され候事。
一、同五巳年九月、宣明院様御逝去につき、常詰小番に仰せ付けられ、元の立場へ御返しなされる旨、仰せ出され候事。
一、同七未年十一月、去々年以来、御人減少の上、御次番勤めの内をも兼務致し候につき、御褒美として綿一把を下し置かれ候事。
一、同月、良徳院様御懐守を仰せ付けられ候事。

One: In the second month of the same fourth year (Tenmei 4, 1784, the year of the Dragon), he was additionally appointed to serve as an attendant (*otomogata*) to Senmyō'in-sama, and his seat rank was raised to above that of the *o-umaya bettō* (Master of the Stables).
One: In the tenth month of the same year, since his appointment to his current duties, he had maintained perfect attendance throughout without interruption and had served with diligence, for which he was commended.
One: In the ninth month of the same fifth year (Tenmei 5, 1785, the year of the Snake), due to the passing of Senmyō'in-sama, he was appointed to the *jōzume kobang* (permanent small guard unit) and it was decreed that he would be returned to his original post and position.
One: In the eleventh month of the same seventh year (Tenmei 7, 1787, the year of the Goat), as the number of personnel had decreased since the year before last, and he had additionally taken on the duties of the *o-tsugiban* (next/secondary guard shift) on top of his regular duties, he was granted one bundle of cotton (*wata hitotaba*) as a reward.
One: In the same month, he was appointed to serve as *o-futokoro-mamori* (personal guardian/keeper of the seal) to Ryōtoku'in-sama.
One: In the first month of the same eighth year (Tenmei 8, 1788, the year of the Monkey), his seat rank was appointed to above that of both Aizu treasury officers (*ryō o-nando*), specifically next after Kimura Genji.
One: In the twelfth month of the same year, during intervals when his primary duties permitted, he was appointed at the *gakkan* (academy hall) of the upper residence (*kami o-yashiki*) to serve as *gakkan* (academic supervisor), attending to the coming and going of students, the management of their seating, the assessment of academic excellence and diligence or lack thereof, and was further ordered to substitute in the absence of the *kudoku-shi* (reading and punctuation instructor).
