三眠の内、桑止め一日は起きて蚕が揃うためなり。四回目に起きるには、そのことにかかわらず先に起こした蚕を飢えに及ばせてはならぬ。起きて桑を付けるなり。この時、切らざる桑を残らず掛け終わり、直ちに下抜きへし。いまだ起きざる蚕、簀の底にあり、拾い取り別の稾台へ移すべし。やがて起きるものなり。これにて蚕は下抜くことの宜しきを知るべし。四回目に起きてより蚕屋の炉を塞ぎ、火を焚くことを禁じ、涼しくすべし。
