　この小冊子は父の志の不十分な部分を補い、養
　蚕農家に毎年多くの利益があることを知らしめよう
　とするものであるから、俗語による平易な話を基本とし
　て、あえてその言葉を飾らずに、「よう」を
　「ぬし」と言い、「ねずみ」を「やかぜ」と言うのが古くからの
　その土地の方言（ところことば）を用いる

　This small booklet aims to supplement the inadequacies of my father's intentions and
　to inform sericulture farming households of the great benefits available each year.
　Therefore, it is based on simple conversations in common language,
　and deliberately uses unadorned speech, such as calling "yō"
　"nushi," and "nezumi" "yakaze," which are ancient
　local dialects (tokorokotoba) of that region.
