大地震并類焼の為に野宿（のじゆく）する窮民（きうみん）へ
御公儀様より御｜憐愍（れんみん）を以（もつて）此度
幸橋御門外 外に
浅草広小路 深川八幡宮境内
深川海辺大工町 東叡山山下火除地
右五ヶ所へ御救小屋建これに依て市中｜貧窮（ひんきう）の者と
いへども雨露（うろ）飢渇（きくわつ）の煩（わづら）ひなく渡世の
御救 御用 道を得るに至る
小屋 御上様御慈悲御仁恵の程 仰（あふぎ）
奉にも猶 余（あま）りあり実に難有
事どもなり
御用 御上様御仁徳を仰ぎ奉り市中
家持之町人共分限の及ぶかぎり御救
御用 小屋へ者へほどこしとして送る品々山の
町会所 如くにして日々に沢（さは）也誠に上（かみ）を見習ふ下
御用 にして実に難有御代のためしなり

現代語訳
大地震および類焼のために野宿する困窮した人々へ、
幕府から憐憫をもって、この度
幸橋御門外 その他に
浅草広小路 深川八幡宮境内
深川海辺大工町 東叡山山下火除地
右の五か所に救済小屋を建設した。これにより市中の貧しい者といえども雨露や飢渇の苦しみなく生活の道を得るに至った。
幕府の慈悲と仁恵のほど、仰ぎ奉るにも余りあり、実に有難いことである。
幕府の仁徳を仰ぎ奉り、市中の家持ちの町人たちも財力の及ぶ限り、救済小屋の人々へ施しとして送る品々は山のようにして、日々豊富である。誠に上を見習う下々にして、実に有難い御代の例である。
