現代語訳
暗夜に鬼を談ずべからず、白日に人の噂をすべからず。怪力乱神を語るべからずとは君子の教え、論語より少し。
神輿に雨堂を始め、皆々京に入り、日も早や傾き、百筋の灯心がただ一筋になったのを打ち消せば、引き窓からがらがらとがったりと落ちたのを、鬼か人かとよく見れば、筋熊の浅い稲田故、皆々肝と共に行灯を踏み潰し、一文凧の糸が切れたごとく、化け物どもがふわりふわりと消え失せた。
まことや、怪しきを見て怪しまされば、怪しき事なし。悪魔外道というのは、不忠不孝の人より外にはない。
これにつけても、お子様方、悪い真似をなさるなや。なんとか天下天下。
