【詩題】柳郎中が春日に揚州に帰るのを送る南国での別れの作に酬いる
広陵の三月、花が正に開く頃
花の中で君に会って酔うこと一回
南北を行き来するのは特に遠くはない
夕潮に従って去り、朝潮に来る
《解説：揚州の広陵あたりも春三月なので花の盛りである。この時分、外でもあるが花の陰であなたに会って酒宴をして楽しむが、やがて別れなければならない。しかし、また会うのも気軽である。なぜなら夕方の潮の時分に帰って、朝潮の時に早くいらっしゃるほどなので、いつでも会うのも自由である。そんなに憂える必要はないなどと慰めて言う》

Following the evening tide when departing, coming with the morning tide.
《Commentary: Around Guangling in Yangzhou, it is also the third month of spring, so flowers are in full bloom. At this time, whether outside or in the shade of flowers, we meet you and enjoy wine banquets, but we must eventually part. However, meeting again is also easy. This is because you return with the evening tide and come early with the morning tide, so meeting anytime is free and easy. There is no need to worry so much—such are the consoling words spoken.》
