現代語訳
●『国名風土記』（上の十二丁）三河の条に云う
矢作（やはぎ）川は、日本武尊が東に下向された時、
蝦夷の兵どもが高石（たかし）山にて待ち伏せ申し上げたということをお聞きになり、その場所にて多くの矢を
作られたという。
●『平家物語』（十二の二十一丁、六代の条）文覚上人の語りに、「聖（ひじり）よ、鎌倉殿を世にお立て申そうとして、
院宣を伺いに京に上るが」云々、高市（たかし）山にて追い剥ぎに遭い、辛うじて命ばかり助かりつつ、福
原の籠の御所に参って、院宣を申し出て奉ったという。
●『源平盛衰記』（四十七の二十三のひら、文覚関東下向の条）に云う、富士川・大井川にて水に溺れ、宇津の山・高
師山にて疲れを癒し申したこと、一度ではなかったという。
●『太平記』（三の十一丁）に云う、前陣がすでに美濃・尾張両国に着けば、後陣はなお
まだ高志二村の峠に差し支えているという。

●"Kokumei Fudoki" (Upper, 12th page), Mikawa section states:
The Yahagi River - when Prince Yamato Takeru descended eastward,
he heard that enemy soldiers were lying in ambush at Mount Takashi, and at that location he
made many arrows.
●"The Tale of the Heike" (Vol. 12, 21st page, Rokudai section), in the words of Monk Mongaku: "Holy one, in order to establish the Kamakura Lord in this world,
I went up to the capital to seek an imperial decree," and so forth. At Mount Takashi he encountered bandits, barely escaping with his life, and went to the cage palace at Fukuhara to present the imperial decree.
●"Genpei Jōsuiki" (Vol. 47, 23rd page, section on Mongaku's journey to the Kantō) states: He nearly drowned in the Fuji and Ōi rivers, and rested from fatigue at Mount Utsu and Mount Takashi, not just once.
●"Taiheiki" (Vol. 3, 11th page) states: When the vanguard had already reached both Mino and Owari provinces, the rear guard was still
held up at the Takashi Futamura pass.
