【本文】
本当に盧生が邯鄲の夢で五十年の栄華を一時に見たが、これは東海道五十三次の道中を二日の初夢に一晩で見たのも道理。宝船と取り替えて道中双六を枕の下にしたからとは、どうやら嘘のようだけれども本当の事も本当の事、きっとした青を本当の事、すぐに馬之丞殿の午年に愛しの初夢とめでたく面白い事である。
夢も長いものだと、良いにしろと善交が申しましたけれども、それでもどうも仕様がございません。

さてはそれは夢であったか、ハァとはばかばかしくなし。
今起きたゆえ馬之丞殿が太鼓を打って喜ばれる。しかしこれは着物の下で見えず。

【Main Text】
Just as Lusheng saw fifty years of glory and prosperity in an instant in his dream of Handan, this viewing of the entire Tokaido fifty-three stations journey in one night's first dream of two days is quite reasonable. Though it may seem like a lie that placing the road sugoroku game under the pillow in exchange for a treasure ship caused this, both the real things and the genuine things are true. The immediate genuine blue is the real thing - this beloved first dream of Lord Banosuke in the year of the horse is truly auspicious and entertaining.
Though Zenko said the dream was long and that's fine, somehow it still cannot be helped.

So it was all a dream after all! Ha, how foolish it seems.
Since he has just awakened, Lord Banosuke beats the drum in celebration. However, this cannot be seen as it is under his clothing.
