○【朱印】
他国者で通行手形を持たない者および素性の怪しい者、四国遍路の類について、度々取り締まりを命じてきたが、どうしても辺境地域に入り込んでいる様子が見受けられるため、昨年六月に取り締まりを行い追放を命じたところ、一応減少したが、最近になってまた同様の者たちが辺境地域に入り込んでいる様子が見受けられる。これは取り締まりが緩んでいるためと思われ、いかがなものかと考える。したがって、再び厳しく取り締まりを命じるので、従来の方針を十分に心得て、来る十一日、村浦の吉時に詳しく調査を行い、役人を付き添わせて最寄りの国境において追放した上で、出身国・所在地・氏名を帳面に記録し、郡代の元へ提出すること。また今後については、取り締まりが手薄にならないよう、役人たちは重々注意して心得ること。

Regarding people from other domains without travel permits and suspicious persons, including those making pilgrimages to the four provinces of Shikoku, although we have repeatedly ordered investigations and control measures, it appears that such people continue to infiltrate the border areas. Therefore, last June we conducted investigations and ordered their expulsion, which resulted in a temporary decrease. However, recently it appears that such people are again infiltrating the border areas. This seems to indicate that our surveillance has become lax, which is problematic. Accordingly, we are once again ordering strict investigations. Keep the previous directives firmly in mind, and on the coming 11th day, at an auspicious time in the villages and harbors, conduct thorough investigations with accompanying officials, expel them at the nearest domain borders, record their home provinces, locations, and names in registers, and submit these to the district magistrate's office. Furthermore, regarding future matters, officials must be especially mindful to ensure that surveillance does not become negligent.
