行届候様致度事ニ候仍而ハ御普請初渡銀
六七歩通位御渡被仰付残銀之義ハ御普請之
模様一度ニ御渡成候様被仰付面々ニおゐても誠ニ
難有被思召就而者御普請奉行時々罷出候而も
有合飯物馳走ケ間敷義者無之様可仕候
右様上ゟ厚御意被為在候御義ニ付御奉行様
思召を以猶又相應ニ相暮候者共ゟ少々宛人夫
自力御手傳出精仕候様之心得候之者相進メ候様
可仕御趣等被仰聞此段村々役人共へ厚申聞
置候ニ付而ハ上役之者共右御趣意相心得置
不申而ハ相成不申事故今日出懸之者共江
直々申聞置度候事ニ候
猶又其後村役人共ニ頭百姓江も於御役處様
被仰渡候御事ニ御坐候

現代語訳
行き届くようにしたい事である。そこで御普請初渡し銀を
六、七歩通り位お渡しになるよう仰せ付けられ、残り銀の義は御普請の
模様を見て一度にお渡しになるよう仰せ付けられた。面々においても誠に
ありがたく思し召されることなので、御普請奉行が時々出向いた際にも
有り合わせの飯物でもてなすべきであり、間敷き義のないようにすべきである。
このように上からの厚い御意向があることなので、御奉行様の
思し召しにより、なおまた相応に暮らしている者たちから少しずつ人夫を
自力で御手伝い出精するようにという心得の者を勧めるよう
すべき御趣旨等を仰せ聞かされ、この段を村々役人たちへ厚く申し聞かせて
おくことについては、上役の者たちが右の御趣意を心得ておかなければ
ならないことなので、今日出向いている者たちへ
直々に申し聞かせておきたいことである。
なおまたその後、村役人たちならびに頭百姓へも御役所様において
仰せ渡されたことでございます。

This is something we wish to ensure is thoroughly implemented. Therefore, it has been ordered that approximately six to seven parts of the initial public works silver be distributed, and the remaining silver shall be paid out all at once depending on the progress of the public works. Everyone should truly be grateful for this consideration, so when the public works magistrate visits from time to time, he should be entertained with whatever food is available, and there should be no inappropriate conduct.
Since there is such generous consideration from above, by the will of the magistrate, it has been ordered that those living in reasonable circumstances should be encouraged to contribute a small amount of labor through their own efforts to assist with the public works. This directive has been thoroughly communicated to the village officials. Since the senior officials must understand this intention, we wish to directly inform those who have come today.
Furthermore, this was later proclaimed to the village officials and village headmen at the government office.
