新年が巡り来る元日より
幼い御方の詠歌ともなればと
清長が描いた
暦の下段に題したものがある
数も自然に七種を得た
万の宝がこの中にあると永寿堂の主人が
さらに乞うて版木に移し、なお春深い
梅の香りに子の日の松に千代を託そうと
画風流の始めに百万歳の寿を申し上げる

From New Year's Day when the year returns again,
Hoping it might become poetry for young ladies,
Kiyonaga depicted these scenes
And titled them at the bottom of the calendar.
The number naturally reached seven types.
The master of Eijudō said all treasures are contained within this,
And further requested to transfer them to woodblocks. Still, in the deep spring
With the fragrance of plums and pine of the first Rat Day, entrusting a thousand generations,
