現代語訳
一、文政7年（申年）6月、多賀谷権助の2度目の養子対馬が不埒な行いにより13里四方追放を申し付けられ、その後癇症により離縁となった。文政8年酉年8月16日、実家の酒井外記の元へ病気により引き取り養生が許可された。しかし10月に病気によりお咎めのお許しを願い出て、願いの通り申し付けられたが、翌日病死した。
【朱書き】町在住者で入墨追放となった者が病死する際、お咎めのお許しを願い出れば許可される近例：弘化2年巳年に金津領で、同5年申年2月に下領で、その他数々の例がある。
一、弘化3年午年12月、来る正月晦日の文恭院様御七回忌の赦免が申し出られるにつき、以下の通り月番土屋十郎右衛門宅へ来た。
口上の控え：
私の家来清水十郎右衛門の妹安が、昨年重いお咎めを申し付けられ恐れ入っております。しかし、この度赦免が申し出られるとの御沙汰があるとのことで願書を提出いたします。よろしくお取り計らい下さい。以上 12月3日 芦田内匠使者 竹内源左衛門
口上の覚え：
私の妹安が先年重いお咎めを申し付けられ恐れ入っております（以下略）公の重要な法事が申し出られ（以下略）右のお咎めをお許し下さるよう願い申し上げます。この趣旨をお取次の方まで適切にお伝え下さい。以上 11月晦日

右を月番が受け取り評議したところ、この度は年数も短いためお許しはないが、先の7月の天梁院様十三回忌御法事の赦免には願い出なかったが、一家対面のお許しが成された。
一、文化6年巳年10月14日、永見六郎右衛門の養子式部は先年お国追放のところ、この度親との対面をお許しになったので参りましたが、駕籠での移動で体調を崩したため、しばらく逗留したいと存じます。もっとも出立の時分は御報告申し上げる旨、六郎左衛門が申し聞かせたので承知した。
一、文化9年申年8月25日、永見六郎左衛門が申し聞かせたのは、先の養子式部が美濃国表から今朝参り、しばらく逗留していると届け出た。
ただし、右の式部は先達てお国立ち入りをお許しになったので、右の通りの届けで承知した。
一、文化3年寅年4月、生駒五左衛門が今度別紙の通り組町から願い出たので立ち入りを許可したいと申し聞かせたため、同役と相談の上、勝手次第で許可するよう申し達した。
先達てお組の山田茂四郎という者が不調法な件があったため、お暇を下され組町への立ち入りもしないよう申し付けられたので、慎んでおりました。しかし、この度右の茂四郎が丸岡様の扶持人に召し抱えられましたので、何卒組町への立ち入りをお許し下さるよう願い出ます。もっとも一家で和談の上で右の趣旨を願い出ます。何分お役人中様でご評議の上、願いの通り申し付けて下さるよう、よろしくお願い申し上げます。以上
他に組役人一家も同様の願書がある。
一、文化2年丑年3月17日、西沢林右衛門の実弟で先の三村金左衛門の養子文次郎が、先達て不調法があり願いの上で兄林右衛門へお預けになったところ、病気のため御医師加藤玄三に願い服薬したいと口上書をお番頭へ提出し、御用番へ伝えられたところ、願いの通り申し付けられた。同18日、文次郎が重病となったため、林右衛門並びに親類から番頭支配頭を通じてお嘆きの口上書を差し出したところ、お咎めをお許しになる旨を本多玄蕃方が申し聞かせた。同日酉の下刻に文次郎が病死した。これにつき葬送の件で林右衛門方から明19日に勝見乗国寺へ送ると届け出た。
一、文化3年寅年2月、当4月の浄光院様御法事（二百回）につき、支配下で赦免を願い出る者もあれば連絡するよう、急ぎではないがそれぞれに

To Kozawa Yūsuke-sama, Shimizu Jūroemon
The monthly duty officer received this and deliberated. Since not many years had passed this time, no pardon was granted. However, for the pardon during Lord Tenryōin's 13th anniversary memorial service in the 7th month, though no petition was submitted, family meeting permission was granted.
1. On the 14th day of the 10th month of Bunka 6 (Snake Year), Nagami Rokuroemon's adopted son Shikibu, who had been banished from the domain in previous years, was granted permission to meet with his parent and came, but became unwell from palanquin travel, so he wishes to stay temporarily. Naturally, he will report when departing, as Rokuroemon communicated, so this was acknowledged.
1. On the 25th day of the 8th month of Bunka 9 (Monkey Year), Nagami Rokuroemon reported that his former adopted son Shikibu had arrived this morning from Mino Province and would be staying temporarily.
Note: Since Shikibu had previously been granted permission to enter the domain, this was acknowledged as such a notification.

On the 17th day of the 3rd month of Bunka 2 (Ox Year), Nishizawa Rinemon's younger brother, formerly adopted son Bunjirō of Mimura Kinzaemon, had committed misconduct and was placed in the custody of his brother Rinemon upon petition. When he became ill, a written request was submitted to the guard captain requesting medical treatment by physician Katō Genzō, which was conveyed to the duty officer and granted as requested. On the 18th, when Bunjirō became seriously ill, Rinemon and relatives submitted a petition of grief through the guard captain's supervisor. Honda Gemba conveyed that punishment forgiveness was granted. On the same day at the late hour of the Rooster, Bunjirō died of illness.
