一同年十二月十五日江戸表ゟ申来候最前御留守居大関新五左衛門組相勤候加藤五左衛門并忰平右衛門両人共御門払
被仰付候処平右衛門儀ハ其後奉公仕儀御免被成候今度昇安院様御法事ニ付御国ニ老母有之御国并江戸御屋
敷へも右平右衛門立入御免被下候様宮北十郎左衛門相願々之通御免被成候江戸御屋敷へ立入候儀御免ニ候へハ
御国御城下へ立入候儀も不苦候且又右御免之儀郡奉行へも可申聞旨御家老中被申聞候段申来候ニ付在

被申談候前々ゟ科書之内立帰者共抔度々立帰申事有之候此等之者共ハ立帰候而も畢竟命ハ御免之事
と存候故又々立帰候間ケ様之類之者ハ被相伺候節御裁許之被遊様も可有之此外ニも其筋ニより可被仰付品も
可有之候間重而ゟ赦之者可被仰付儀有之節ハ科書相認其元御家老中へ差出御家老中ゟ此表へ御伺候日柄
有之候様ニ前方ニ指出候様彦右衛門彦太夫郡御奉行共へ各可被申談旨御意被遊候間可被得其意候

現代語訳
一、享保7年寅年12月6日、嶋田宇右衛門方に蟄居している土岐蘇閑について、今度の御法事につき願い寺の一類の方へ内々に参りたい旨を願い出たところ、願い寺へ内々に参ることは御免許されたが、その他のことは今まで通り慎んでいるべき旨を右衛門方の宇右衛門へ申し聞かされたと承知するよう申し聞かされた。
一、同10年巳年7月23日、芦田右衛門方より申し聞かされたのは、当27日の御法事《割書：見性公33回忌》につき軽い赦免が申し付けられたので、金津奉行・郡奉行へ内々に良い者たちより申し遣わし、支配下で牢に入っている内で軽い御咎めの者、追放者等がいれば当25日までの内に申し達すべき旨につき、水野善左衛門・皆川三左衛門へ御書状を申し遣わした。
一、同12年未年11月、芦田右衛門方の元家来（中間）七助は先年追放されたところ、今度在所立入を許免された旨を申し聞かされた。留家来咎めの条に出ている。
一、同年12月15日、江戸表より申し来たのは、以前御留守居大関新五左衛門組に勤めていた加藤五左衛門並びに息子平右衛門両人とも御門払いを申し付けられたところ、平右衛門については其の後の奉公が御免許されたが、今度昇安院様御法事につき御国に老母がおり、御国並びに江戸御屋敷へも右平右衛門の立入を御免許下さるよう宮北十郎左衛門が相願い、願いの通り御免許された。江戸御屋敷への立入が御免許であれば御国御城下への立入も差し支えなく、かつまた右御免許のことを郡奉行へも申し聞くべき旨を御家老中が申し聞かされたと申し来たので、在所山竹田村支配の水野善左衛門へその段を申し来た。その節以下の通り采女方の望月八郎右衛門へ申し聞かされた段も申し来た。
一、江戸御屋敷への立入を御免許の者は御国御城下への立入を御免許されたのと同格のことであるので、この以後はそのように心得るべき旨
一、享保18年丑年11月26日、江戸表より来た御用状並びに内状の趣旨は以下の通り
一、当6日の御飛脚が同14日到着し、御用状を翌15日に入御覧したところ、御意として仰せられたのは、御法事の節に赦免の者を申し付ける件について、大宮彦右衛門・鈴木彦太夫郡御奉行共方より先達て赦免の者について科書を御家老中へ相伺った件が、御法事前に余日なくなってから相伺ったため、御家老中よりこちら表へ御相伺する間もなかったので、この以後は御法事がある節は前もって科書を認めて御家老中へ相伺うよう各々より右の面々へ申し談ずべきである。前々より科書の内で立帰り者など度々立帰ることがあるが、これ等の者たちは立帰っても畢竟命は御免許のこととして存ずるため又々立帰るので、このような類の者は御相伺の節に御裁許の仰せ様もあるべきである。この外にもその筋により申し付けるべき品もあるべきなので、重ねて赦免の者を申し付ける儀がある節は、科書を認めてその元の御家老中へ差し出し、御家老中よりこちら表へ御伺いする日柄があるよう前もって指し出すよう彦右衛門・彦太夫郡御奉行共へ各々申し談ずべき旨を御意として仰せられたので、その意を得るべきである。
一、内状を以て御意を得たが云々。右御用状の案紙を入御覧すべき旨の御意につき、則ち案紙を認めて入御覧したところ、この段相違ないので申し遣わすべき旨を仰せ付けられた。そのよう御心得されるべきである。もっともここ元の御家老中より其の表の御家老中へ右の趣旨を委細に仰せ越される旨を承った云々
右御用状を御家老中が入披見し、向後町・金津三郡奉行共へ前広に科書を差し出すよう私共が申し談ずるまでのことで畏り奉る旨を御請け申し上げたが、決して御家老中より仰せ付けられなければ、心得違いで科書を前広に指し出す品はございません。向後科書御用の節は前広に面々へ仰せ付けられなければ、私共が申し談じ置くまででは相違いたします旨を申し達したところ、その通り畏り面々へ申し談ずる旨を御請け申し上げるべき旨を修理方が申し聞かされたので、重便で同役中まで御請け申し上げた。
△五丁前へ入れるべき
一、延享5年辰年6月22日、若殿様が御入りになったにつき先頃大赦が申し付けられ、御免許の者共の書付を江戸表へ回したところ、江戸表より江戸御屋敷出入御免許ということはないので、江戸表に住居している御免許の者共をいかに取り扱うべきかと申し来た。先ず御暇を下された以後の御免許で江戸御屋敷に出入りする者は御城下御免許と同格であれば御国へ立入る段は差し支えない趣旨で、享保12年巳年12月に稲葉采女方が申し渡した先例があるので、この義で御免許の者共の江戸御屋敷出入を勝手次第に取り扱うようにと今晩立ちの御飛脚に同役共方へ申し遣わした。
【下にあり】一、天保6年未年10月、江戸表において御用人飯田作左衛門が口上書を以て申し聞いたのは、去る卯年に私がこちら表へ召し連れた村尾勝次郎という者が出奔したので御届け申し置いたが、然るところ今度恐悦の折柄御屋敷立入の件を許免してくれるよう親類共が度々嘆願するので、故障もなければ御門立入を許免下さるよう申し聞いたところ、先例を吟味したところ寛政4年子年に酒井主水方が相願った堀江官右衛門という者について右同趣旨、文化2年丑年に佐野内膳の依願で刀指山形団次という者について右同趣旨で許免されたので、同16日に御家老中へ申し達したところ、外に子細もなければ願いの通り取り計らうよう申し聞かされたので、その段を作左衛門へ申し達し御門所へも夫々申し付けた。
一、享保15年戌年6月25日の御入部の大赦が仰せ出され、その節御城下への立入が御免許の者は江戸御屋敷への立入も御免許であるので、その段その段を御役人共へも申し聞くべき旨を宇都宮勘解由まで各々連状で申し遣わした。一、府中の町並びに知行所について、前々より仕置として牢舎・追放等の者共を今度の赦免で申し仕すべきであり、軽重の品については尤も吟味次第に許可すべきとのことを本多内蔵助方へ狛伊勢方より書中を以て相達した。
一、享保2年酉年9月16日、高瀬甚太夫は御暇を下され御構いの件は御定の外国持大名中の御構いのところ、同8年卯年に御国立入御免許、同15年戌年6月25日の御入部の大赦に御国の内福井ともに居住御免許。然るところ同18年丑年2月の清池院様御法事の赦免に御隣国の御構い御免許を下さるよう親類島田九八郎が相願ったところ、上より御吟味の上で御国居住まで御免許であれば御構いともに残らず御免許であるので、その段を申し聞くべき旨につきその旨を島田九八郎へ申し聞いた旨の留がある。

On the 6th day of the 12th month of Kyōhō 7 (Tiger Year), regarding Toki Sokan who was under house arrest at Shimada Uemon's residence, when he petitioned to visit his temple relatives privately for the upcoming memorial service, permission was granted to visit the petitioned temple privately, but for other matters he should continue to exercise restraint as before, and this was conveyed through Uemon to be understood.

On the 23rd day of the 7th month of the 10th year (Snake Year), Ashida Uemon conveyed that light pardons would be granted for the memorial service on the 27th [marginal note: 33rd anniversary of Lord Kenshō], so letters were sent to Mizuno Zenzaemon and Minagawa Sanzaemon to have good people from Kanatsu magistrate and district magistrate offices privately inquire whether there were any prisoners under their jurisdiction with light offenses or banished persons, to be reported by the 25th.

1. On the 22nd day of the 6th month of Enpō 5 (Dragon Year), when the Young Lord entered, a great amnesty was declared recently. When the list of pardoned persons was sent to Edo, Edo responded asking how to handle pardoned persons residing in Edo, since there was no such thing as permission to enter and exit the Edo residence. Since those who received permission after being granted leave and who enter and exit the Edo residence have the same status as those permitted in the castle town, their entry into the domain is acceptable. Based on the precedent established by Inaba Uneme in the 12th month of Kyōhō 12 (Snake Year), this matter of pardoned persons entering and exiting the Edo residence should be handled as convenient, and this was communicated to colleagues via tonight's express messenger.

In the 10th month of Tenpō 6 (Sheep Year), at Edo, retainer Iida Sakuzaemon submitted a verbal report stating that Murao Katsujirō, whom he had brought to this office in the previous Rabbit Year, had absconded, which was duly reported. However, since relatives have repeatedly petitioned for permission for him to enter the residence on this joyous occasion, if there are no objections, permission should be granted for him to enter the gates. However, for the amnesty of the memorial service for Lord Seichi'in in the 2nd month of the 18th year (Ox Year), his relative Shimada Kuhachirō petitioned for the lifting of restrictions in neighboring domains. Since after examination from above, if residence in the domain was permitted, all restrictions should be completely lifted, this should be communicated.
