右之外重キ仕置之儀者御式目之通

一 御家老中をはじめ高知（身分の高い家臣）中まで、譜代の家来に悪事があった場合、主人の判断で追放を申し付ける件について
国外追放よりも軽い処分の場合は御目付へ届け出があり、御目付からの返答の上で取り扱いがあるはずである。右の外、十里追放であっても主人の判断次第で済ませることができる。町や在郷の者等を一季（三ヶ月）半季（一ヶ月半）雇用していた者に追放を申し付ける件については、これまで通り御城下追放であっても御目付からの返答の上で取り計らうはずである。
右の外、重い処罰の件については御式目の通りとする。
嘉永五年子年七月二十六日、御用番松平主馬方へ月番松波甚左衛門から申し達し、評議の上で決定する。

1. Regarding the matter of ordering banishment of hereditary retainers who commit wrongdoing, from the senior councilors down to high-ranking retainers, based on the master's judgment:
For punishments lighter than banishment from the domain, there should be notification to the inspector, and handling should occur after response from the inspector. Besides the above, even for banishment of ten ri, it can be settled according to the master's judgment. Regarding ordering banishment of those who employed townspeople or rural people for one season (three months) or half a season (one and a half months), even for banishment from the castle town as has been done up to now, arrangements should be made after response from the inspector.
Besides the above, regarding severe punishments, follow the official regulations.
