三日丁亥小雹年始令参社次第如常也〇當春関東年始
御使伊豫守常成被 仰付也
五日己丑晴御殿御領村役人共御礼参上御祝酒被下如例也
○昨夜老若参會有之旨趣者顕晃母子争論一件ニ付
一昨三日社中より傳奉え被相伺候處精進頭之義ハ何分
論中御差止被成候間往来田之義は社中ニ預置可申旨被仰

正月小
元日乙酉晴れ 佳節四海泰平を称え重んずる。○御家門年始の御礼、例年の如し。
○若御所への御参賀、例年の如し。
二日丙戌晴れ 院中への御参賀、昨日と同じ。
三日丁亥小雹 年始の参社を行い、次第は平常の如し。○当春関東年始の御使として伊予守常成が仰せ付けられた。
五日己丑晴れ 御殿の御領村の役人共が御礼に参上し、御祝酒を下されること例年の如し。
○昨夜老若が参集したが、その趣旨は顕晃母子争論一件について
一昨三日、社中より伝奏衆に伺いを立てた処、精進頭の義については何分論争中につき御差し止めとなったが、往来田の義については社中に預け置くべき旨を仰せ付けられた由が披露された。なお今日も社中総代が出頭し、右の往来田を社中に預け

1st day, Kinoe-tori, clear weather. We celebrate and honor this auspicious day and the peace throughout the realm. ○ New Year greetings from the imperial family branches as usual.
○ Congratulatory visits to the young imperial residence as usual.
2nd day, Hinoe-inu, clear weather. Congratulatory visits to the imperial court, same as yesterday.
3rd day, Hinoto-i, small hail. Conducted New Year shrine visits in the usual manner. ○ This spring, Iyo-no-kami Tsunenari was appointed as the New Year envoy to the Kantō region.
5th day, Tsuchinoto-ushi, clear weather. Village officials from the lord's domain came to pay their respects and were given celebratory sake as usual.
○ Last night the elders and youth gathered, the purpose being regarding the dispute case between Kenkō and his mother.
The day before yesterday on the 3rd, an inquiry was made from the shrine community to the court intermediaries, whereupon it was decreed that the matter of the purification headship should be suspended due to the ongoing dispute, but the matter of the transit fields should be entrusted to the shrine community. Today also, representatives of the shrine community appeared to entrust the aforementioned transit fields to the shrine community.
