養蚕場（ようさんば）の事
一三月八十八夜頃に至り煤（すゝ）を払ひ蜘（くも）の巣（す）をよく取
清浄（せう〴〵）にして戸障子の立付其外 透間（すきま）迄残らず
目張をして温（あたゝか）なるよふに心懸へし但高き窓（まど）
あれは湯気を取に大きによろし
一 蚕場（かいこば）にて多葉粉を呑（のむ）事 決（けつし）て有べからず
一蚕出るより家内にて匂（にほ）ひ悪しきもの取扱ひ
現代語訳
養蚕場について
一、3月の八十八夜頃になったら煤を払い、蜘蛛の巣をよく取り除いて
清潔にし、戸や障子の建て付けやその他の隙間まで残らず
目張りをして暖かくなるように心がけよ。ただし高い窓が
あれば湯気を取るのに大変良い。
一、蚕場でたばこを吸うことは決してあってはならない。
一、蚕が出てからは家の中で匂いの悪いものを取り扱うこと

Around the 88th night from the beginning of the third month, sweep away soot, thoroughly remove spider webs, keep everything clean, and seal all gaps including the fitting of doors and shoji screens so as to keep the place warm. However, if there are high windows, they are very good for letting out steam.
