嘉永七年寅の年このたび大地震、雷、出火につき諸方へお知らせするため【左隅】【以下大枠内】早飛脚回りにて詳しい所本調べ　大地震　諸国国々少々ずつの違いはあるが、大体同時同様の地震なり六月十四日より地震、二十一日暮れ半時にまた揺り、夜八つ時にまた揺り、都合八日の間に凡そ二百七十五度の大地震なり【以下二段組】【以下上段】和州奈良【右下角に倒壊家屋のイラスト】六月十四日夜九つ半時揺り始め、大小とも度々揺り、朝六つより半時ほど大地震揺り。奈良末町あちこち図の如く崩れ、その時家の内に一人もいることならず、皆々野または興福寺その外広い空地などで夜明かし。南は清水通り残らず、木辻の四つ辻より十軒ほど崩れ、鳴門町辺はすっかり。北西手貝通り、北半田西町南北大崩れ、川久保町、細川町、北向町、北風呂辻子町、この辺別して大崩れ。死人凡そ百三十人、怪我人数知れず。同郡山　死人凡そ七十五人ほど、怪我人多し同十四日夜八つ時より十五日朝五つ時揺り続けの大地震にて、町家一軒も無事なるはなく、もちろん一人も家内にいることならず、皆々野畠などの広い所の空地あるいは藪などで夜を明かし。大道往来の者一人もなく、皆門を閉めよせ、いずれに入るともわからず。十六日暮れ方まで大小五十七度揺る。毎夜々野宿にて目も当てられぬ次第なり。柳町一丁目より四丁目まで凡そ七十五六軒崩れる。その外町々右同様の事なり。同古市【下に家屋のイラスト】同十四日夜八つ時大地震度々揺り、朝明け六つ半時より大地震。町家一軒も残らず崩れ、家の内にいながら死者もあり、門へ出て死者もあり、誠に哀れなりと聞き及ぶ。また御屋敷、町家少々残る、誠に稀なる恐ろしき大地震なり。死人凡そ大人百五十人、同小児三十七人、怪我人数知れず。伊賀上野右同日同時大地震にてお城大手御門口大損じ、市中凡そ六分通り崩れ、鍵の辻より出火にて黒門前まで焼け、それより嶋の原という処より大川原という処まで、地割れのため一面の泥海の如く、その所埋まり、筆に尽くし難し。十六日暮れ方までに五十七度の地震なり。死人凡そ二百余、怪我人おびただし。伊勢四日市【次下に大火事のイラスト】同十四日夜四つ時より揺り始め、明け六つ時の大地震なり。崩れ家凡そ三百六十軒余り、昼五つ時より出火にて崩れ家とも四百七十軒ほど焼け。大地震の上出火につき死人数知れず、凡そ五百余りと所の人の噂。【次上に雷のイラスト】六月二十日夜半少々ずつ地震揺りながら、暮れ半過ぎより雷鳴り出し、大小とも度々なり。近辺へ七所落ちる。明け二十一日九つ時前鳴り止む。【ここより下段】摂州大阪【下に逃げる人のイラスト】六月十三日九つ時に地震少々揺り、その日八つ時また揺り。十四日夜九つ半時に大地震揺り始め、大阪末町あちこち損じ、両御堂少々崩れ損じあり。神社境内皆々石灯籠、鳥居など崩れ。十五日朝五つ時頃より四つ時頃までの内、西北野里の渡し辺の綿作る畠の中、平らな所凡そ二軒四方にて深さ一丈ほど穴開き、その中へ土落ち込み、また中より黒土の泥水湧き出し、その近辺しばらく泥海の如し。皆々驚き、昔より今に至りて稀なる不思議を凡そ書し記すなり。山城京都六月十四日夜八つ時に大地震揺り、京町中大騒ぎにて東西南北末町少々損じ、東山辺も南北神社寺院少々損じあれども、大抵右同様の事なり。近辺竹田街道茶店凡そ七八軒崩れ、十五日しばらく往来止まる。尾州宮より佐屋街道筋また中山道名古屋辺は少々損じ、美野島橋、清洲の、またあるいは美濃路近辺等、大地震にて人々大いに困る。泉州堺町家あちこち少々損じ、末町凡そ三軒ばかり崩れ、家の下敷きになり凡そ五人ほど死、怪我人少々あり。安立町も少々損じ、怪我人も少々あり。三州岡崎近辺【上に橋のイラスト、図中に矢作橋とある】同十四日夜七つ半時より大地震揺り始め、御城下町家皆々無残、家の内にいる者なし。町々家屋敷土蔵など大いに損じ、末町あるいは田地ひび割れ、数万人の人々驚き、着類金銀を用いしは、大川原あるいは近辺の山地広い所へ逃げ去る事なり。ただし矢作の橋少々損じ、しばらく往来止まるという。大津近辺石場船乗り場、大石灯籠湖水へ倒れ込み、同所舟番所同断、横死者三人もあり。三人余は右に順じ、損所もあまた御座候。丹波亀山十四日夜四つ半時頃より近辺の山うなり出し、間もなく大地震、人家崩れ激しき事、人々の話しより恐ろしき体なり。江州信楽同日同時頃に大地震揺り、人家は損じ、ことに土蔵おびただしく返り、土落ち、ひび割れ、凡そ蔵の数二十七八倒れ、家数南北二百五十軒ほど崩れ、怪我人数知れず。南山城木津【下に山津波のイラスト】同十四日夜九つ半時より東西南北の空なく黒雲振り下り、石降り、笠置山より大岩木吹き出し、図の如く近辺大水となり、家十軒ほどずつ崩れながら流れ、命を失くす。とも逃げ行く処なく、夜中の事なれば誠に哀れなる次第なり。死人いまだ数相わからず。水十五日九つ時頃にすっかり引きなり。越前福井六月十三日五つ時塩町鍛冶屋町辺出火、大風激しく東西南北とも残らず焼け、二百丁ほど寺院百ヶ所、両本願寺とも焼け、近在凡そ十ヶ所焼け、夜四つ時に鎮まり申し候。またその夜八つ時より大地震、田地なども泥海となり、所々の家崩れ、死人凡そ七十五六人、まことにその混雑筆に尽くし難し。十六日暮れ方までに度々の大地震なり。
