ところがこわれ、同所の仮宅遊女屋も大半こわれ。松井町も同じなり。本所割下水近辺は水が出て大川のごとし。御旗本屋敷もこわれ多し。亀戸、柳島、押上近所の百姓家、寺方もこわれし所多し。また水にて難渋に及ぶと言う。

[The boat warehouses] were destroyed, and most of the temporary buildings and brothels at the same location were also destroyed. Matsui-machi suffered the same fate. Near Honjo Warishita-mizu, water flooded out like a great river. Many bannermen's estates were destroyed. Around Kameido, Yanagishima, and Oshiage, many farmers' houses and temple buildings were destroyed. It is said they also suffered hardship from flooding.
In the north-northeast direction, Koami-machi and Sakai-machi areas suffered some damage. Ryōgoku Bridge was safe. All the show stalls were blown down and destroyed. Okura-mae was safe.
