御太刀馬代被献之

但御痛所ニ而 御登 城御断ニ付御使者を以被献之

享保十一年丙午
一、正月元日に御屋敷において年始の御規式があり、諸士の御礼をお受けになり、初めて御流儀をお授けになった。
一、同日、年始の御祝儀として、御使者である御奏者番の水谷織部（勝紀）を通じて御太刀と馬代を献上した。
大納言様へも右同断で献上した。
ただし御病気のため御登城をお断りになったので、御使者を通じて献上した。

Kyōhō 11, Year of the Fire Horse (1726)
1. On New Year's Day (the 1st day of the 1st month), the New Year ceremony was held at the lord's residence, where he received the formal greetings of his retainers and bestowed his martial arts style for the first time.
1. On the same day, as New Year's felicitations, a ceremonial sword and horse fee were presented through the messenger Mizutani Oribe (Katsuki), who served as御奏者番 (gojōsyaban - liaison officer).
The same offerings were presented to the Dainagon (Great Counselor).
However, due to illness preventing his attendance at the castle, the presentations were made through a messenger.
