一、正月三日、御謡初めの御祝儀として、御使者を通じて例の通り御盃台と御酒代を献上した。
一、同月七日、若菜の御祝儀として、御使者を通じて例の通り御肴（鯛三尾）を献上した。
一、同月十六日、御本丸において今日から二十日まで、御先代の通りに御祈祷の執行を仰せ付けられた。
ただし右の御祈祷の件は以後定例のため記録しない。
一、二月二十日、御老中松平伊賀守（忠周）殿より、歳暮の御内書をお渡しになる予定なので、明日二十一日に御家来一人を御城へ差し出すよう、御切紙が来た。
一、同月二十一日、右同断により御留守居大谷一右衛門（次安）が御城へ参上したところ、歳暮御祝儀御献上に関する御内書を御老中松平伊賀守（忠周）殿よりお渡しがあり、その際一右衛門へ縮緬二巻を拝領する旨を申し聞かせられ、その御品は御奏者番丹羽式部少輔（■氏）殿より相渡された。それから西丸へ参上したところ、大納言様へ右同断の御献上に関する御奉書を西丸御老中安藤対馬守（信賢）殿より相渡され、一右衛門は帰参し、御内書を差し上げて御頂戴された。

1. On the 3rd day of the 1st month, for the New Year celebration of the first Noh chanting (go-utai-hajime), ceremonial sake cups and sake money were presented through a messenger as usual.
1. On the 7th day of the same month, for the young herbs celebration (wakana), ceremonial fish dishes (three sea bream) were presented through a messenger as usual.
1. On the 16th day of the same month, at the main castle keep, prayers were ordered to be conducted from today until the 20th, following the precedent of the previous lord.
Note: The matter of these prayers will not be recorded hereafter as it becomes routine.
1. On the 20th day of the 2nd month, a directive (go-kirigami) came from Rōjū Matsudaira Iga-no-kami (Tadachika), stating that an official letter regarding year-end matters would be delivered, and that one retainer should be sent to the castle tomorrow, the 21st.

On the 21st day of the same month, regarding the above matter, the castellan Ōtani Ichiuemon (Tsuguyasu) went to the castle, where he received an official letter from Rōjū Matsudaira Iga-no-kami (Tadachika) concerning the year-end ceremonial offerings. At that time, he was told that Ichiuemon would receive two rolls of silk crepe, and these items were handed over by Gojōsaban Niwa Shikibu-shōyū ([name unclear]). Then, going to the Western Castle, he received an official letter concerning the same offerings to the Dainagon from Western Castle Rōjū Andō Tsushima-no-kami (Nobukata). Ichiuemon returned and presented the official letter, which was graciously received.
