一 閏正月五日、御槍の稽古のため、中村政右衛門を江戸表へ召し寄せることになり、政右衛門は今日福井を出発した。
一 同月十一日、御勘定奉行筧播磨守殿が先日お尋ねになった新覚書一冊について、保浦の竹内藤右衛門漂流の件で御国より回送されてきたので、御留守居大谷一右衛門が持参して播磨守殿へ提出した。
一 二月五日、家督相続の御祝儀として御老中を招請したい旨を、御先年六郷主馬殿を通じて御用番水野和泉守殿へ申し入れた。
一 同月七日、御用番水野和泉守殿より御呼び出しがあり、御留守居宮北十郎左衛門が参上したところ、来月十八日に皆様お越しいただく旨を御書付をもって申し聞かされた。これについて御礼として和泉守殿へ、また御勤め残りの御老中へも御使者を派遣した。
一 三月十八日、家督相続の御祝儀として御老中を招請し、御餐応（饗応）を行った。
一 同月二十二日、右同様に御一門様方並びに御簇本中への御餐応を行った。
但し二十六日、二十九日も同様である。
一 同月二十八日、巣鴨御下屋敷近所の水野隼人正殿上り屋敷の御用地三万六千五百坪が御領地として仰せ出され、鈴木伊勢守殿のお渡しにより、御留守居大谷一右衛門が参上して受け取った。
一 四月朔日、運正寺が登城して入院の御礼を申し上げた。

• On the 5th day of the intercalary first month, Nakamura Masaemon was summoned to Edo for spear practice training, and Masaemon departed from Fukui today.
• On the 11th day of the same month, regarding the new record book that the Finance Magistrate Kakehi Harima-no-kami had inquired about previously, concerning the drift ashore of Takeuchi Tōzaemon from Houra, the document was sent from our domain, so the Edo representative Ōtani Ichiemon brought and submitted it to Harima-no-kami.
• On the 5th day of the second month, a request was made through Rokugō Uma-no-kami to the duty magistrate Mizuno Izumi-no-kami expressing the desire to invite the senior councilors for celebratory festivities regarding the succession to family headship.
• On the 7th day of the same month, there was a summons from the duty magistrate Mizuno Izumi-no-kami, and when the Edo representative Miyakita Jūrōzaemon attended, he was informed through a written notice that everyone should come on the 18th day of next month. In gratitude for this, messengers were sent to Izumi-no-kami and to the remaining senior councilors.
• On the 18th day of the third month, senior councilors were invited for celebratory festivities regarding the succession to family headship, and a banquet was held.
• On the 22nd day of the same month, similarly, a banquet was held for the members of the main family and the retainer groups.
Note: The same occurred on the 26th and 29th days.
• On the 28th day of the same month, 36,500 tsubo of land for official use at Mizuno Hayato-no-shō's upper residence near the Sugamo lower mansion was granted as domain land, and through the transfer by Suzuki Ise-no-kami, the Edo representative Ōtani Ichiemon attended and received it.
• On the 1st day of the fourth month, Unshōji temple made a castle visit to express gratitude for the temple appointment.
