一 四月十三日於江戸侍中武芸 御覧被成
一 五月七日公領杉崎下真柄村之御領分北村与間部若狭守《割書：詮｜方》殿
領分大夫村之用水出入之儀ニ付公領春日野村太右エ門与申者
右取扱致候得共事済不申候ニ付公領下真柄村ゟ一人罷出
候ニ付北村ゟも一人江戸表江罷出度旨相願候ニ付罷越候様
可申付旨郡奉行皆川三左衛門《割書：勝｜囿》江御家老酒井刑部《割書：知｜房》申

一 同月廿二日於 御本丸御家中侍中武芸 御名代御覧有之
但追々有之候得共不記之けんけん
一 同月廿六日御使者を以例之通御国産初鯖被献之
一 六月三日暑中ニ付御使者を以例之通御国産素麵被献之
一 同日大和守《割書：基｜知》様御願之通兵庫頭《割書：■｜■》様御養子被 仰出
兵庫頭様是迄之御領知相添被下候段被 仰出
一 同月八日 初姫様先達而ゟ御水痘之処御快ニ付御酒湯

一 同月十六日為嘉祥御祝儀初而 御登 城御礼被仰上

将軍様への御目見えが仰せ付けられた。
一 四月十三日、江戸において侍中の武芸を御覧になった。
一 五月七日、公領杉崎下真柄村の御領分北村と間部若狭守殿領分大夫村との用水出入りの件について、公領春日野村の太右衛門という者が右の取扱いを致したが事が済まないので、公領下真柄村より一人参り出たところ、北村からも一人江戸表へ参り出たい旨を願い出たので、参るよう申し付ける旨を、郡奉行皆川三左衛門へ御家老酒井刑部が申し渡した。
一 同月二十二日、御本丸において御家中侍中の武芸を御名代が御覧になった。
但し追々あったが記録していない。
一 同月二十六日、御使者を以て例の通り御国産の初鯖を献上した。
一 六月三日、暑中につき御使者を以て例の通り御国産の素麺を献上した。
一 同日、大和守様の御願いの通り、兵庫頭様の御養子が仰せ出され、兵庫頭様はこれまでの御領知に相加えて下される段が仰せ出された。
一 同月八日、初姫様が先達てより御水痘であったところ御快気につき、御酒湯の御祝儀があった。
一 同月十六日、嘉祥の御祝儀として初めて御登城し御礼を仰せ上げ、御菓子を御頂戴になった。

An audience with the Shogun was commanded.
• On the 13th day of the fourth month, the martial arts of the samurai retainers were observed in Edo.
• On the 7th day of the fifth month, regarding a water rights dispute between Kitamura village in the domain territory of public land Sugisaki Shimomanakara village and Taifu village in the territory of Lord Manabe Wakasa-no-kami, a person named Taemon from public land Kasugano village handled the matter, but since it was not resolved, one person came from public land Shimomanakara village. Since Kitamura village also requested that one person be allowed to go to Edo, the senior retainer Sakai Gyōbu conveyed to district magistrate Minagawa Sanzaemon that permission should be granted for them to go.
• On the 22nd day of the same month, at the main castle, a representative observed the martial arts of the house retainers and samurai.
Note: There were others subsequently, but they are not recorded here.
• On the 26th day of the same month, the first mackerel of the season, a local product, was presented as usual through a messenger.
• On the 3rd day of the sixth month, due to the summer heat, sōmen noodles, a local product, were presented as usual through a messenger.
• On the same day, as requested by Yamato-no-kami, the adoption of Hyōgo-no-kami as heir was announced, and it was declared that Hyōgo-no-kami would be granted additional territory beyond what he previously held.
• On the 8th day of the same month, since Princess Hatsu had recovered from smallpox that she had been suffering from recently, there was a celebratory sake bath ceremony.
• On the 16th day of the same month, for the Kashō festival celebration, he made his first castle visit to express gratitude and received confections.
