現代語訳
事である。御料の分は御代官より勘定所へ、私領の
分は頭支配へ書付を出すよう伝達すべきである。以上
午二月
一 二月二十四日、御用番松平左近将監乗邑殿より呼び出しがあり、御留守居
大関新五左衛門直宥が出向いたところ、五節句の登城御願いの件について
左の通り御書付をもって仰せ出された。

一 三月二日、明日三日の節句に初めて登城されるにつき御届けとして、
御用番水野和泉守忠之殿、西丸御老中安藤対馬守信賢殿へ
御使者として御留守居宮北十郎左衛門定由を派遣した。
一 同月三日六時半、左兵衛督直常様と御同道にて節句に初めて登城。
大広間において侍従の御席にて御礼を申し上げ終わって西丸へ登
城。御奏者番中の謁見にて御礼を申し上げ、それより御帰殿（九時
過ぎ）。再び御出になり、右の御礼として御老中へ御廻勤、若年寄中へ御使者

matter. For shogunal territories (goryō), the deputy governors (daikan) should submit to the Finance Office, and for private domains, they should submit written reports to their respective supervisors. The above.
2nd month of the Year of the Horse
1. On the 24th day of the 2nd month, there was a summons from the duty councilor Matsudaira Sakon-no-shōgen Noriō, and when the deputy resident representative Ōzeki Shingo-zaemon Naohiro went to attend, he received the following written directive regarding the request for court attendance during the five seasonal festivals:

1. On the 2nd day of the 3rd month, as notification that he would attend court for the first time on the 3rd for the seasonal festival, he dispatched as messenger the deputy resident representative Miyakita Jūrō-zaemon Sadayoshi to the duty councilor Mizuno Izumi-no-kami Tadayuki and to the Nishinomaru senior councilor Andō Tsushima-no-kami Nobutaka.
1. On the 3rd day of the same month at 6:30, he attended court for the first time for the seasonal festival in the company of Sahyōe-no-suke Naotoki. He offered ceremonial greetings from the chamberlain's seat in the Great Hall, then proceeded to Nishinomaru castle. He offered greetings in audience with the master of ceremonies, then returned to his residence (past 9 o'clock). He went out again, and as courtesy for the above, made courtesy calls to the senior councilors and sent messengers to the junior councilors.
