これにつけても神ほとけにしんを
いたせはあまねく御めくみにあつかる
のみならすこしやうにてはせんしよに
むまれこんしやうにてはゑいくわに
ほこり給ふなりかへす〳〵此さうしを
御らんせん人々はかみほとけを
たつとみ給ふへし此けちえんにて
二しんしやうりやうしやうとう
しやうかくとんせうほたいと御ゑかう

すきにける
そのふることをみてもなを
神のちかひを
いかてわすれん

現代語訳

このことからも分かるように、神仏に信心を込めれば、あまねくその御恵みを受けるだけでなく、来世では善所に生まれ変わり、現世では栄華を誇ることができるのである。繰り返し申し上げるが、この草子をご覧になる人々は、神仏を尊び敬うべきである。この功徳の縁によって、二親（父母）、諸霊、諸聖等、成仏得道し、菩提を得て、回向があることであろう。
過ぎ去った
その古いことを見ても、なお
神の誓いを
どうして忘れることができようか

From this we can understand that if one devotes sincere faith to the gods and buddhas, not only will one receive their boundless blessings, but in the next life one will be reborn in a good realm, and in this life one will enjoy glory and prosperity. I say again and again that those who read this tale should revere and honor the gods and buddhas. Through the karmic connection of this merit, may parents, all spirits, all saints and others achieve buddhahood and enlightenment, attain bodhi, and receive the benefits of this dedication of merit.
Even seeing
those things of the past that have gone by,
how could I ever
forget the divine vow?
