【右丁】
[風車（かざぐるま）　《割書：花三四月｜　　有》]花の形が車のようで花弁八枚が平たくして
中心にしべがある。花に数多くの品種があり、白一重、薄紫一重、紅
紫一重、紫一重、紺色一重、また雪白八重、一重千重
あるいは雪白千弁、白に爪紅色千弁、柿紅千重がある。いずれ
も花が上品で見事である。花の大きさは四寸あまり。

[鉄線花（てつせんか）《割書：三四月｜花有》]花は風車のようだが小さく締まっている。
花に千弁、薄紫千重があり盛り上がって咲く。また白と薄紫との
咲き分けがある。また纏枝牡丹（てんしぼたん）というのは鉄線の千重にある。
花は白く花弁八つで面白い。図には載せず。花の大きさは二三寸。

花の色は白く形は唐松のよう。茎に黒みがある。
また紫花があり、草丈は白の唐松よりしなやかである。また
白に紫の移りがあるものもある。葉も白の唐松より
少し厚い。大唐松草というものもあり、草丈が大きく立ち
伸びる。草南天という。また黄唐松があり、葉が少し変わっている。

花の形は梅の花のようでしべが立ち伸びて極めて
本金黄色で大輪。葉は菊の葉に似て丸く厚い。
切れ込みが少なく草花の上品である。花に八重あり千重あり。
白があるというが見たことがない。またさつま金鳳花という。

[葉鶏頭（はけいとう）]花形も葉も普通の鶏頭である。花は紅と黄と咲き分け
の三種があって葉に白くまだらの斑がある。葉先まわりは青く
青の中が白く青紫に薄雪が降ったようで花より見事なので
葉鶏頭という。花が赤いのは葉にも白紅のまだらがある。七八月。

雁来紅は錦草という。葉鶏頭というのは間違いである。これには花は
なく葉の間に実を結ぶ。葉鶏頭の花形は鶏頭のようである。
鶏頭花の同類である。雁来紅とは雁が来る時分に見事になるゆえの一名である。葉の盛りは八月。

老少年一名は秋紅、雁来紅がある。二作詩一に曰く

stamens in the center. There are many varieties of flowers: white single, light purple single, crimson

or snow-white thousand-petaled, white with red-tipped thousand-petaled, persimmon-red thousand-petaled. All
flowers are elegant and magnificent. The flower size is over four sun.

There are thousand-petaled flowers, light purple double varieties that bloom in raised clusters. Also there are
varieties with separated white and light purple blooms. Also what is called Tenshi-botan (winding branch peony) is found in the double clematis.
The flowers are white with eight petals and are interesting. Not shown in diagram. Flower size is two to three sun.

Flower color is white, shape like karamatsu (larch). The stem has blackish coloring.
There are also purple flowers, and the plant habit is more flexible than white karamatsu. Also
there are some with white that transitions to purple. The leaves are also
slightly thicker than white karamatsu. There is also large karamatsu-grass with large plant habit that grows
tall. It's called grass nanten. There is also yellow karamatsu with slightly different leaves.

Golden phoenix flower (Kinpouka)　《Small text: exist》]
The flower shape is like plum blossoms with stamens extending upward, extremely
true golden yellow color and large flowers. Leaves resemble chrysanthemum leaves, round and thick.
Few incisions, it's an elegant herbaceous flower. There are double and thousand-petaled flowers.
They say white exists but I haven't seen it. There is also Satsuma golden phoenix flower.

[Leaf cockscomb (Hakeito)] Both flower form and leaves are of ordinary cockscomb. Flowers come in red and yellow with separated blooming
in three varieties, with white mottled spots on the leaves. Leaf edges are blue and
blue center is white, like light snow falling on blue-purple, more magnificent than flowers, so
it's called leaf cockscomb. When flowers are red, leaves also have white-red mottling. July-August.

Ganraikō is called brocade grass. Calling it leaf cockscomb is an error. This has no flowers
but forms seeds between the leaves. The flower form of leaf cockscomb is like cockscomb.
It's the same family as cockscomb flowers. Ganraikō means it becomes magnificent when geese arrive, hence the name. Leaf prime is August.

Rōshōnen, also called autumn red, ganraikō exists. A poem says:
"Flying geese come from the south, border grass in autumn. Though frost has not yet fallen, red leaves already show sorrow first. Green
Pearl's banquet ends and returns to Kinkoku. Seven-foot coral does not close at night."
