現代語訳
御用番の大久保加賀守（忠増）殿のもとへ出向き、御書（十一日付）を提出した。
一、四月十二日
吉邦様が初めて国許への御暇を仰せ出されたため、御礼勤めの件について御用番の大久保加賀守（忠増）殿まで御留守居から伺い出たところ、御使札を提出するよう御指図があった。
一、同月十七日、御病気が再発したとのことで、御眩暈が起こり、しばらく御正気がつかれなかったため、御医師たちが御脈を伺った上で、有賀玄哲（一閑）の薬を御服用になった。
一、同日、右同様のため、茂呂多右衛門（勝温）を道中七日振りで江戸表へ派遣した。
一、同月十八日、右同様であったが、引き続き御快方に向かったため、御徒飛脚（上坂甚五右衛門）を江戸表へ派遣した。
一、同月二十一日
吉邦様の国許への御暇を仰せ出されたことへの御礼として御使札の趣で、江戸表へ御書を提出した。
ただし江戸表で勤めた御使者は詳細不明、五月七日に御返書の御渡しがあった。
一、同日、国許からの御使茂呂多右衛門（勝温）が江戸表へ到着し、御様体を申し上げたため、吉邦様から御見廻いとして御使高屋善右衛門（長英）を御国表へ派遣された。

1. April 12th
Since Yoshikuni-sama was granted his first leave to return to his domain, regarding the matter of performing thanks ceremonies, an inquiry was made from the Edo resident to the duty magistrate Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami (Tadamasu), whereupon instructions were given to submit a formal messenger's letter.
1. On the 17th of the same month, his illness relapsed, causing dizziness, and since he did not regain full consciousness for a while, the physicians examined his pulse and he took medicine from Ariga Gentetsu (Ikkan).
1. On the same day, due to the same condition, Moro Taemon (Katsuharu) was dispatched to Edo in a seven-day journey.
1. On the 18th of the same month, although the same condition persisted, since he continued to recover, a foot messenger (Uesaka Jingorōemon) was dispatched to Edo.
1. On the 21st of the same month
As thanks for Yoshikuni-sama being granted leave to return to his domain, a letter was submitted to Edo in the form of a formal messenger's letter.
However, the messenger who served in Edo is unknown in detail; a reply letter was delivered on May 7th.
1. On the same day, the messenger from the home domain, Moro Taemon (Katsuharu), arrived in Edo and reported on the lord's condition, so Yoshikuni-sama sent messenger Takaya Zenemon (Nagateru) to the home domain as an inquiry after his health.
