頭緝布篷は長さ四丈。幅二丈四尺。
尾送の布篷は長さ三丈六尺。幅二丈五尺。
　合計で篷八道。少頭幞布篷一道。

各船において、船戸以下二十二人。

正夥長。針盤羅経の事を主管する。副夥長。針房を経理し、兼ねて水鋾長綆三条を主管する。水の浅深を候すことをする。

正副舵工二人。舵を主管する。二号船の上では、兼ねて勒肚二条を管理する。

正副椗二人。椗四門を主管する。行船の時は、頭緝布篷を主管する。

正副鴉班二人。頭巾頂帆、大桅上の一条龍旗、及び大旗を主管する。

正副杉板工二人。杉板小船を主管する。行船の時は、清風大旗及び頭帆を主管する。

正副繚手二人。大帆及び尾送布帆、繚母棕、繚木索等の物を主管する。

正副値庫二人。大帆の挿花、天妃の大神旗を主管する。また装載を主管する。

押工一人。槓椇を修理することを主管し、及び行船の時、大桅千觔墜一条を主管する。

香公一人。天妃諸水神座前の油灯、早晩洋中で紙を献じること、及び大帆の尾繚を主管する。

英語訳

The head-seaming cloth sail is four zhang long and two zhang and four chi wide.
The tail-escort cloth sail is three zhang and six chi long and two zhang and five chi wide.

For each ship, twenty-two people below the ship master level.

Chief mate: manages compass and navigation instruments. Assistant mate: manages the compass room and also oversees three water-sounding long ropes to measure water depth.

Two helmsmen (chief and assistant): manage the rudder. On second-class ships, they also manage the two belly straps.

Two anchor men (chief and assistant): manage four anchor gates. During sailing, they manage the head-seaming cloth sail.

Two crow's nest men (chief and assistant): manage the turban-top sail, the single dragon flag on the main mast, and the large flag.

Two cedar-plank workers (chief and assistant): manage the cedar-plank small boat. During sailing, they manage the fair-wind large flag and head sail.

Two rigging hands (chief and assistant): manage the main sail, tail-escort cloth sail, rigging ropes, wooden cables, and similar equipment.

Two storekeepers (chief and assistant): manage the decorative elements of the main sail and the great divine flag of Tianfei. They also manage cargo loading.

One foreman: manages repair of levers and poles, and during sailing, manages the thousand-catty weight on the main mast.

One incense keeper: manages the oil lamps before the seats of Tianfei and various water deities, offers paper morning and evening while at sea, and manages the tail rigging of the main sail.
