一 御能三番目が終了すると、同席者一同が御板縁を立ち、そこから要脚が済んで、広蓋半頃に大広間北御縁へ移動し、見合いをして広蓋が済んでから、同所の蝦蟇仙人の御杉戸を後ろにして二人が着座していた。公家衆が殿上之間へ参られてから、安芸殿も移動されたので、三人で申し合わせ、大廊下を通って桜之間へ移動し、御障子を後ろにして、御床を向き、鴨の御杉戸から二畳目の位置に三人が身分順に着座した。

1. When the third Noh performance concluded, all those present left the wooden veranda, and after completing the necessary procedures, around the time of the broad-brimmed hat ceremony, they moved to the northern veranda of the great hall. After observing the proceedings and the broad-brimmed hat ceremony was completed, two people were seated at the same location with the Gama Sennin cedar doors behind them. After the court nobles proceeded to the Tenjō-no-ma (Hall of Court Nobles), Aki-dono also moved, so the three of us conferred and proceeded through the great corridor to the Sakura-no-ma (Cherry Blossom Room). With the sliding doors behind us, facing the alcove, we three seated ourselves in order of rank at a position two tatami mats from the cedar doors decorated with wild ducks.
