〇朝霞（あさかすみ）にはとをく行へからす夕霞には千里を行
へし皆 雨晴（ふりてり）の占也
霜雑占
〇三日つゝきて霜ふる時は後かならす雨ふる也
〇李（すもゝ）にふたゝひ花さけは秋にいたりて大に霜ふる也
〇霜ふらんとする時にひゆる也
靄雑占
〇夕に西北の方に靄（もや）かさなりみゆるは雨の徴也
〇靄（もや）は露の変（へん）するもの也秋さかりにふる也
〇朝に靄ありてやうやくひらくものは晴の徴（しるし）也
雹雑占
〇雹（あられ）ふりて飛鳥（とふとり）を殺（ころ）し又木の皮を剥（はく）は五穀（ここく）
のみのらぬ徴也

現代語訳
○朝霞（あさがすみ）の時は遠くへ行ってはいけない。夕霞の時は千里でも行ける。これらは皆、雨や晴れの占いである。
霜雑占
○三日続けて霜が降る時は、その後必ず雨が降る。
○李（すもも）に二度花が咲くと、秋になって大いに霜が降る。
○霜が降ろうとする時は冷える。
靄雑占
○夕方に西北の方向に靄（もや）が重なって見えるのは雨の前兆である。
○靄（もや）は露が変化したものである。秋盛りに降る。
○朝に靄があって次第に晴れるものは晴天の前兆である。
雹雑占
○雹（ひょう）が降って飛鳥を殺し、また木の皮を剥ぐのは、五穀が実らない前兆である。

○When there is morning haze, one should not travel far. When there is evening haze, one can travel a thousand ri. These are all divinations of rain and clear weather.
Frost Divination
○When frost falls for three consecutive days, rain will surely follow.
○When plum trees bloom twice, there will be heavy frost in autumn.
○When frost is about to fall, it becomes cold.
Mist Divination
○When mist is seen layering in the northwest direction in the evening, it is a sign of rain.
○Mist is a transformation of dew. It falls during the height of autumn.
○When there is mist in the morning that gradually clears, it is a sign of clear weather.
Hail Divination
○When hail falls and kills flying birds, and also strips bark from trees, it is a sign that the five grains will not bear fruit.
