〇樹にふたゝひ花さけは夏にいたりて 雹（あられ）ふる也

〇霧（きり）ふかけれは三日の内にかならす雨ふるしるし也

〇朝霧には雨ふる夕霧には晴を主（つかさと）る也
〇暁（あかつき）の間（あいた）に霧ひらきて又｜擁（よう）するものは雨の徴也

〇霞（かすみ）の色（いろ）青く明（あきら）かならされは其年 洪水（おほみつ）を主也
　又霞 短（みしか）くして彩（いろと）りなけれは三日の内に大雨
　ふる也又牛の臥（ふし）たるかたちのことくなれは翌（あくる）
　日 辰時（たつとき）にかならす大風吹也又 蛇（へひ）のかたちの
　ことくなれは飢饉（ききん）のしるし也

○樹に再び花が咲けば、夏に至って雹が降る。

○朝霧は雨を、夕霧は晴れを主とする。
○夜明け前の間に霧が晴れてまた集まるものは、雨の兆しである。
○日が出て雲や霧が覆うものは、雨の兆しである。

○露が降りなければ、天気が地に恵みをもたらさないため、大小の旱魃が起こる。また、地に火災があるであろう。ただし、夕露は陰から生じ、朝露は陽から生じるものである。

　　　　　　霞に関するさまざまな占い

○霞の色が青く明らかでなければ、その年は洪水をもたらす。また、霞が短く彩りがなければ、三日以内に大雨が降る。また、牛が伏せているような形になれば、翌日の辰の刻（午前八時頃）に必ず大風が吹く。また、蛇のような形になれば、飢饉の兆しである。

○If the fog is deep, it is a sign that rain will surely fall within three days.
○If there is no morning fog, it is a sign of clear weather.
○Morning fog foretells rain; evening fog foretells clear skies.
○If fog disperses before dawn and then gathers again, it is an omen of rain.
○If clouds and fog cover the sky after the sun rises, it is an omen of rain.

○If dew does not fall, it means the heavenly energy does not descend to bestow its gifts upon the earth, and therefore both great and small droughts will occur. There may also be fires on the ground. Note that evening dew is born from yin, while morning dew is born from yang.

○If the color of the haze is not a clear blue, it portends flooding that year. Also, if the haze is brief and lacks color, heavy rain will fall within three days. Furthermore, if it takes the shape of a reclining ox, a great wind will certainly blow the following day at the Hour of the Dragon (around 8 a.m.). If it takes the shape of a snake, it is a sign of famine.
