現代語訳

薬煩について。本巻の薬煩条を参照すべし。 下後脈反って数なること(『類編』巻三所載) 壅被について。「壅」は当に「擁」と作るべし。 その性に随いてこれを升泄することについて。劉松峯曰く「その字は病を指して言う。性は宜しく勢字と解すべし。清気を升らせ、余炎を泄らす」と。 証に因りて数々攻めることについて(『類編』巻一では「証に因りて数々下し大いに下す更に宜しく時に臨みて斟酌して論ずべし」と作る) 塑について。塑は塐と同じ。音は素。土を捏ねて物に象るなり。 病愈えて結存すること(『類編』巻三所載) 下隔について(『類編』巻三では「病愈えて下格」と作る) 宜しく調胃承気を熱服して頓下すべし。病結及び溏糞粘膠の悪物、臭くして当たるべからざる者、嘔吐立ちどころに止む。下後反って嘔する条に云く「疫邪が心胸に留まり、胃口の熱甚だしければ、皆嘔して止まざらしむ。これを下せば嘔当に去るべし」また云く「疫を患う時有り、心下脹満し、口渇し発熱して嘔す。此れは応に下すべきの証なり。これを下せば諸証減去すること六七、嘔も亦た半ばに減ず。再びこれを下せば、脹除き熱退き渇止む。向は則ち数日眠らず、今は則ち少しく寐ぬ。嘔独り転た甚だし。此れは疫毒去りて諸証除かれ、胃続いて寒となりて嘔甚だしきなり。半夏藿香湯一剤を与えて嘔即ち止む」と。 南風を求めんと欲すれば須らく北牖を開くべしについて。『法華玄義』に「北窓を開けば則ち南風至る如し」とあり。『摩訶止観』に「門開けば則ち風来たり、扉を閉ずれば則ち静かなる如し」とあり。 毫釐の差遂に千里の異有り。『礼経解』易を引きて曰く「君子は始めを慎む」と。

The section on "vomiting after purging" states: "When epidemic pathogen remains in the heart and chest, and stomach opening heat is severe, all cause continuous vomiting. Purging should stop the vomiting." It also says: "When suffering from epidemic, there is distension and fullness below the heart, thirst, fever and vomiting. This is a syndrome that should be purged. After purging, various symptoms reduce by sixty to seventy percent, and vomiting also reduces by half. After purging again, distension is eliminated, heat recedes, and thirst stops. Previously unable to sleep for several days, now can sleep a little. Only vomiting becomes worse. This is because epidemic toxin is eliminated and various symptoms are removed, but the stomach becomes cold continuously causing severe vomiting. Give one dose of Pinellia and Agastache Decoction and vomiting immediately stops." To seek the south wind, one must open the north window: The Lotus Sutra Profound Meaning states: "Like opening the north window brings the south wind." The Mahayana Cessation and Contemplation states: "Like opening a door brings wind, closing the door brings quiet." A tiny difference results in a thousand-li deviation: The Record of Rites Commentary quotes the I Ching saying: "The gentleman is cautious about beginnings."
