涼薬、則渇転甚、躁転急、有此病証者、便須急服辛
熱之薬、一日或二日便安、○若陰毒漸深、其候沈

涼薬を服用すると、渇きがより甚だしくなり、躁状態がより急激になる。このような病証がある者は、すぐに辛熱の薬を急いで服用する必要があり、一日あるいは二日で安らかになる。○もし陰毒が次第に深くなると、その症候は沈重で、四肢逆冷、腹痛がより甚だしくなり、あるいは咽喉不利、心下脹満、結硬躁渇、虚汗が止まらない、あるいは時に鄭声があり、指甲・面色が青黒く、六脈が沈細而疾で、一息に七至以上となる。このような症状がある者は、速やかに気海あるいは関元の二穴に灸を三〜二百壮行い、手足が和緩になることを効果とし、なお兼ねて正陽散・肉桂散・回陽丹・返陰丹・天雄散・白朮散を服用し、内外を通逐させて陽気を復活させ、大汗で解かせるのである。○もし陰毒が既に深く、疾勢が困重で、六脈は骨に附して取ればようやく有り、按ずるとすぐに無くなり、一息に八至以上、あるいは数えることができないほどになると、この段階では薬餌での攻撃は困難である。ただ臍中に葱熨法を用いるか、あるいは艾を三〜五百壮灸して、手足が温まらない者は治療することができない。もし手足が温まれば、さらに前述の熱薬を服用してこれを助ける。もし陰気が散じ、陽気が来れば、すぐに熱薬を漸減して調治するのである。《巻四》

If one takes cooling medicines, the thirst becomes more severe and the agitation becomes more acute. Those with such disease patterns must urgently take pungent-hot medicines, and they will recover in one or two days. ○ If the yin toxin gradually deepens, the symptoms become heavy and sunken, with reverse cold in the four limbs, abdominal pain becoming more severe, or throat dysfunction, distention and fullness below the heart, hard binding with agitation and thirst, deficiency sweating that doesn't stop, or sometimes zheng voice, fingernails and facial color turning blue-black, and all six pulses deep, fine and rapid, with seven beats per breath or more. Those with such symptoms should quickly apply moxibustion of 300-200 moxa cones at the Qihai or Guanyuan acupoints, with the effectiveness measured by the hands and feet becoming gentle and relaxed. Additionally, one should take Correct Yang Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Return Yang Elixir, Reverse Yin Elixir, Aconitum Powder, and White Atractylodes Powder to penetrate and expel both internally and externally, allowing yang qi to recover and resolve through profuse sweating. ○ If the yin toxin is already deep and the disease momentum is困重, with the six pulses only barely detectable when pressed against the bone and disappearing immediately when pressed, with eight beats per breath or more, or uncountable, then at this stage medicinal attack becomes difficult. One can only use the scallion ironing method at the navel center, or apply 300-500 moxa cones - if the hands and feet do not warm up, it cannot be treated. If the hands and feet do warm up, further administer the aforementioned hot medicines to assist. If the yin qi disperses and yang qi arrives, gradually reduce the hot medicines and regulate the treatment. 《Volume 4》
