【写し】
田手亥之助へ
その方については、小梁川家の家督相続を仰せ付けられ、進退（知行）八十貫文を下し置かれるものである。
（理由）小梁川金之允が養子を立てないまま病死したため、跡式（家督）を充てがわれることとなったが、もともと別家の者であること、またその上、その方が肥前殿へのご奉公（お世話・貢献）の経緯もあり、このように仰せ付けられるものである。

You are hereby ordered to succeed to the headship of the Koyanagawa family, and a stipend (shintai) of eighty kan-mon is granted to you.
(Reason) Since Koyanagawa Kin'no'jō died of illness without having established an adopted heir, you are being assigned his estate and succession; and while you are by origin a member of a separate family, your meritorious service rendered to Lord Hizen (Hizen-dono) has also been taken into consideration in issuing this order.
The above is hereby declared.
