当日諸方から奉納物が夥しく、また参詣の諸人が群集をなすこと、百有余歳の齢を経た老人も覚えて、これほどの賑わいは未だ見聞きしたことがないと言った。このような大災の後にこのようになったのは、実に莫大な霊場として仰ぎ尊むべきである。

On that day, offerings from various places were abundant, and the crowds of worshippers gathering were such that even elderly people over one hundred years of age said they had never seen or heard of such prosperity. That this occurred after such a great disaster truly shows this to be a sacred place of immense spiritual power that should be revered and respected.
