今度御朱印の儀如何様とも公儀被
仰付次第奉存候乍去淡路守飛騨守
内證相尋申候處両人共に御朱印

被成可被下事
一江州高島郡之内於今津弘川両村
高貳千貳百六拾石貳斗余従先䂓
領知仕候今度御朱印に被載御下候様
仕度存候猶又分国中高辻之下帳
進之候間調様万端被加御指図可被下候
随其清書申付可致進上候事

現代語訳
路守に十万石、飛騨守に七万石を分け与えました。今度の御朱印の件については、どのようにでも公儀が仰せ付けになる次第に従う所存です。しかしながら、淡路守・飛騨守に内々で相談申し上げたところ、両人ともに御朱印をそれぞれに頂戴したい旨を申しましたので、そのように御心得くださいますよう。
一、江州高島郡の内、今津・弘川両村において高二千二百六十石二斗余りを先規より領知いたしております。今度の御朱印に記載していただけますよう願いたく存じます。なお、分国中高辻の下帳を進上いたしますので、調査の件など万端について御指図をお加えください。
それに従い清書を申し付けて進上いたします。
右の御朱印の件につき早速申し進めるべきところ、先日岡田豊前守を通じて申し入れましたように、淡路守へ一度相談して申し進めると延引いたしました。委細は御老中へも申し上げておりますので、そのように御心得ください。以上

Awaji-no-kami received 100,000 koku and Hida-no-kami received 70,000 koku as their portions. Regarding this matter of the vermillion seal, we will comply with whatever the government decides to order. However, when I privately consulted with Awaji-no-kami and Hida-no-kami, both expressed their desire to receive individual vermillion seals, so please take note of this.
1. In the villages of Imazu and Hirokawa within Takashima District of Ōmi Province, we have held domain rights over 2,260 koku and 2 to [measures] since ancient precedent. We would like this to be included in the current vermillion seal. Furthermore, we are submitting the land registers for the entire divided domain, so please provide guidance on all aspects of the investigation.
We will have a clean copy prepared and submitted accordingly.
Regarding the above vermillion seal matter, though we should have promptly submitted our request, as we communicated through Okada Bunzen-no-kami the other day, we have delayed in order to first consult with Awaji-no-kami before submitting. We have also reported the details to the Council of Elders, so please take note of this. The above.
