Due to his excellent academic performance being well-regarded, he was granted
the Raiki (Book of Rites) as a reward.
- In the 3rd year (Bunka 3, Year of the Tiger, 1806), 7th month, it was announced that he had served at the school for five years without absence.
- In the 6th year (Bunka 6, Year of the Snake, 1809), 3rd month, having served at the school for eight years without absence, he was granted one silver coin as a reward.
- In the same year, 11th month, he was appointed as an assistant in mathematics administration.
- In the 8th year (Bunka 8, Year of the Sheep, 1811), 12th month, having attended the military academy without negligence and showing particular dedication with exceptional academic progress, he was granted one bundle of cotton as a reward.
- In the 10th year (Bunka 10, Year of the Rooster, 1813), 11th month, having served at the school for twelve years without absence, he was granted one silver coin as a reward.
- In the 11th year (Bunka 11, Year of the Dog, 1814), 1st month, due to staff reduction, he was relieved of his mathematics administration assistant duties, and for his dedicated service thus far, he was granted one bundle of cotton as a reward.
