此寺（このてら）の路（みち）は峰（みね）の中（なか）ほどより上（のぼ）るあちらこちら盤回（めぐり〳〵）して松（まつ）や杉（すぎ）に薜蘿（つらかづら）の下（さが）つて
あるをくゞり出（いで）て寺（てら）へ行（ゆき）つき処々（あちらこちら）を見／渡（わた）せば浙江（せつかう）の西北（にしきた）に到（いたつ）て呉（ご）の地（ち）が残（のこ）らず
見ゆる浙江（せつかう）の岸（きし）をへだて東南（とうなん）の方（かた）は越（えつ）の山（やま）が立並（たちなら）んで多（おほ）くみへる古木（こぼく）がしげり青（こき）
靄（きり）が叢（しげ）り遥（はるか）なる天（てん）も浙江（せつかう）の白波（しらなみ）と一／枚（まへ）になつて浸（ひたつ）たやうにみへる山（やま）の下方（したかた）は銭（せん）
塘（たう）の船着場（ふなつきば）ゆへにぎやかに城郭（じやうくわく）も近（ちか）くみへる寺（てら）の仏前（ぶつぜん）にて誦経（じゆきやう）の時（とき）鐘（かね）をならし
磬（きん）を打音（うつをと）が山（やま）の下（した）の笙歌（しやうか）のさわがしきとひとつに雑（まじはつ）て聞（きこ）ゆる

現代語訳

聖果寺　釈処黙

道は中峰より上へ登る。曲がりくねって薜蘿を抜け出る。江に至って呉の地は尽き、岸を隔てて越の山が多い。古木は青い靄に包まれ、遥かな天は白波に浸っている。下方の城郭は近く、鐘磬の音が笙歌と混じり合っている。

この寺への道は峰の中ほどから上へ登る。あちらこちらと曲がりくねって、松や杉につた蔦の垂れ下がったところを潜り抜けて寺へ着く。あちらこちらを見渡せば、浙江の西北に至って呉の地がすべて見える。浙江の岸を隔てた東南の方は越の山が立ち並んで多く見える。古木が茂り青い靄が立ち込め、遥かな天も浙江の白波と一続きになって浸ったように見える。山の下方は銭塘の船着場なのでにぎやかに城郭も近く見える。寺の仏前で読経の時、鐘を鳴らし磬を打つ音が、山の下の笙歌の賑やかさと一つに混じり合って聞こえる。

英語訳

Shengguo Temple - Shi Chumo

The path ascends from the middle peak, winding around and emerging through the ivy. Reaching the river, Wu territory ends; across the shore, Yue mountains are numerous. Ancient trees cluster in blue mist, the distant sky merges with white waves. Below, the city walls are near, and bells and stone chimes mingle with flute songs.

The path to this temple climbs up from the middle of the peak. Winding here and there, passing under ivy hanging from pines and cedars, one reaches the temple. Looking around in all directions, one can see all of Wu territory extending to the northwest of the Zhe River. Across the Zhe River to the southeast, the mountains of Yue stand in rows, appearing numerous. Ancient trees grow thick with blue mist gathering around them, and the distant sky appears to merge seamlessly with the white waves of the Zhe River. Below the mountain is the busy harbor of Qiantang, so the bustling city walls appear nearby. During sutra chanting before the Buddha in the temple, the sounds of bells and stone chimes mix together with the lively music and songs from below the mountain.
