現代語訳
一 寛政九年（巳年）九月、親の願いにより初めての御目見えを仰せ付けられた事
一 文化五年（辰年）正月、親の介添として蝦夷地へ赴いたが、同年七月十三日の帰帆の際、船中において二十二歳で病死した。法名は玄諦院鉄叟慈降居士。彼の地のマシケという所に埋葬された。

妻は桃沢市郎左衛門金庸の娘（寛政十二年申年九月一日生まれ）
一 文化元年（子年）十一月、学問に精を出し、年齢の割に手際がよろしいと聞こえたため、礼記一部を下し置かれた事

英語訳
One: In the 9th year of Kansei (Year of the Snake, 1797), in the 9th month, he was granted his first audience with the lord at his parent's request.
One: In the 1st month of the 5th year of Bunka (Year of the Dragon, 1808), he went to Ezo-chi (Hokkaido) as an attendant to his parent. However, on the 13th day of the 7th month of the same year, during the return voyage, he died of illness aboard the ship at the age of 22. His Buddhist posthumous name was Gentai-in Tetsusō Jikō Koji. He was buried in a place called Mashike in that land.

Wife: daughter of Momozawa Ichirōzaemon Kane'yō (born on the 1st day of the 9th month of the 12th year of Kansei, Year of the Monkey)
One: In the 11th month of the 1st year of Bunka (Year of the Rat, 1804), because he devoted himself to learning and was reported to be quite capable for his age, he was granted one volume of the Raiki (Book of Rites).
One: In the 3rd month of the 7th year of the same era (Year of the Horse, 1810), he was granted his first audience with the lord as requested by his parent.
