わざわざお越しいただく必要はございませんので、早々にご帰国されてお待ちいただけますようお願いいたします。もっとも、船々は早く作業を終えて出水・川内へ直接回船するよう手配いたします。その後、江戸御用船が不足する事態になっておりますので、船頭たちにしっかりとお申し伝えくださいませ。
これまで延引してこのような状況になっておりますので、御役筋へも不都合が生じないよう、清左衛門様とご相談の上、お申し上げおきくださいませ。
そうして今回の一件が片付きました後、秋になってこの御役筋の船の配分規定が定まらないうちに、貴公様に今一度当地へお越しいただき、何とかお申し出いただければ、きっとご都合がよろしいかと愚考いたします。お返事を飛脚で送ろうと思いましたが、得田氏へ岡部から便宜を図ってもらい、それに依頼して、取り込み中につき粗筆をもって荒々しく書き記した次第でございます。なお後日のお便りをお待ちしております。謹んで申し上げます。

追伸 小出様へ別紙が届いておりませんので、よろしくお伝えくださることをお願いいたします。さて先日、日向の山床切場で産物をすべてご見分の際、灰印のことを役頭からお尋ねがありましたので、私が間に合わせでぼんやりと適当にその場で申し上げておきました。皆様もおおよそお聞きの通りのことで、御役筋向きとは違うことでございますが、今となっては取り返しがつきませんので、久米様へお申し上げになり、どのようにでもそのご吟味次第ということで、ご内談をお進めいただいても、ただ今のところその件で炭などに少しも支障をきたす様子も見受けられません。これもどちらにしても決着がつけば何事もご都合がよろしいかと、余計なことながら、ご両君のご決断が適切になされることをお願いいたします。
善助様ご注文の品は当春まではこちらでの出荷が底をついておりましたので、わざわざ琉球へ注文しておきましたので、六月中には間違いなく当地へ届く予定です。それから発送の都合もつけられます。これも延引となり気の毒に存じますが、遠からずお伺いできる予定ですので、ご承知おきください。下等品の方はいつでも少々はございますが、これはさしあげ（以下不明）

Postscript: The separate document has not reached Mr. Koide, so please kindly convey this to him. Recently, when inspecting all the products at the Yamadoko logging site in Hyuga, the supervisor inquired about the ash markings, and I responded rather vaguely and appropriately on the spot. As you all generally know, this differs from official procedures, but since it cannot be undone now, please consult with Kume-sama and proceed with internal discussions as deemed appropriate after investigation. At present, this matter shows no sign of hindering charcoal production in any way. Either way, once this is settled, everything should work out well. Though it may be presumptuous of me, I hope both gentlemen will make appropriate decisions.
Regarding the items you ordered, Zensuke-sama, since our local supply was exhausted until this spring, I specifically placed an order with Ryukyu, so they should definitely arrive here by the sixth month, and I can then arrange shipment. I regret this delay, but please understand that I will be able to report on this soon. As for lower-grade items, we always have some available, but these are complimentary (text incomplete)
