右召捕次第本洗馬村之内本陣へ召連候而
四番手組へ相渡置可罷出事四番手組ニ而囚人

現代語訳
右の通り召し捕った後は、本洗馬村の本陣へ連行し、四番手組へ引き渡して出頭させること。四番手組が囚人を預かった以上は、縄が緩んでいないかなど全てに注意して見回りを行い、総捕方が帰るまで警固を行い、揃い次第行き先を決めて出発すること。
塩尻峠より二番手組は立ち帰り、手分けして郷中の村々を見回り、二、三日経過した後、指図を受けてから帰ること。
また、村々で召し捕る際は、村役人と共に縄取りを行い、郷中の人足を縄取りなどに使ってはならないこと。
総捕方出動者の心得事項
一、羽織・合羽等は不要のこと
一、禁酒のこと
一、捕方での申し合わせ以外の往来や雑談は無用のこと
一、替縄を一筋ずつ用意のこと
一、術手持参は勿論のこと
一、張笠持参して使用のこと
一、一組につき灯籠・蝋燭等持参のこと
一、出立時刻に遅滞があってはならないこと
一、雨具は出先で藁蓑を使用可能なこと
一、本陣は本洗馬村大庄屋と定めること
本洗馬では青竹を伐採し幕掛かりなど心得ておくこと

After capturing the suspects as described above, they shall be escorted to the headquarters in Hon-Seba Village and handed over to the fourth squad for detention. Once the fourth squad has custody of the prisoners, they must carefully patrol and inspect everything including ensuring the ropes are not loose, maintain guard duty until the main arresting force returns, and once assembled, determine the destination and depart.
From Shiojiri Pass, the second squad shall return and divide up to patrol the villages throughout the district. After two or three days have passed, they may return after receiving instructions.
Furthermore, when making arrests in the villages, rope binding shall be carried out together with village officials, and district laborers shall not be used for rope binding and similar tasks.
Guidelines for Members of the General Arresting Force:
1. Haori jackets and rain capes are unnecessary
2. Alcohol is prohibited
3. Unnecessary conversation and casual interaction beyond official arrest coordination business is forbidden
4. Prepare one spare rope each
5. Bringing weapons is naturally required
6. Bring and use bamboo hats
7. Each squad shall bring lanterns, candles, etc.
8. There must be no delays at departure time
9. For rain gear, straw raincoats may be used at the destination
10. The headquarters shall be established at the head village official's residence in Hon-Seba Village
