元贇江戸 麻布（あざぶ）の国正寺に寓する時福野七郎右衛門 磯貝次郎左衛門
三浦与次右衛門といふ三人の浪人（らうにん）ありて同じく彼寺に寄寓（きぐう）せしが
元贇これに語れるは明朝に人を捕（と）る術（しゆつ）あり我其 技（ぎ）を見るにしか〴〵
といふ三人終に工夫を凝（こら）して其術を得たり是即 起倒流（きたうりう）の柔（やはら）

伊藤玄沢 施薬（せやく）《割書：代々御園町六丁目に住居して年ごろ山野医なきの遠境 僻（へき）地｜までに丸散等を製して広く施（ほどこ）し来りしが 国君これを聞召し》
《割書：宝暦五乙亥十二月より年々薬種料を賜はり尚子孫までもいよ〳〵広く施薬せよとの｜仰を蒙り今に至るまで絶ず施せり近ごろは雲衲（うんとつ）順礼（じゆんれい）或は六部（ろくぶ）非人などに聞伝へ》
《割書：近国はさら也遠国辺土まで伝手を求て施薬を乞ふ実に奇特（きとく）なることぞかし猶屋｜上に看版（かんばん）を掲（かゝ）ぐ其文を左に記して以て窮民（きうみん）に便（たよ）りす》

《割書：右はその身至てひんにしてびやうきのせつよるべもなくくすりを用ひ候事も心にまか｜せざる人に近来薬をほどこし来り候然処此度 上よりも薬種料御めぐみくだ》
《割書：され候条いよ〳〵遠慮なく施薬のぞみのびやう人まいるべく候そのうち大びやう｜あるひは歩行かなはざるびやう人ちかきところへは見まひ可申候遠方にて見せ候事》
《割書：なりがたきものもくわしくやうだいをきゝやうすしだひくすりをあたへ可申候｜ 但右のとをりのひんじやせやくをたのみ来り候においては小児のわづらい目のわづ》

《割書：雲水の出家衆并くわい国じゆんれいしゆぎやうじやのたぐひこれまたせやくいたし｜候間りやうぢのぞみの方は御こしあるべく候》
現代語訳
元贇が江戸の麻布にある国正寺に滞在していた時、福野七郎右衛門、磯貝次郎左衛門、三浦与次右衛門という三人の浪人がいて、同じくその寺に寄宿していた。元贇がこれらの人々に語ったのは、「明朝（中国）には人を捕らえる術がある。私がその技を見せよう」ということであった。三人は最終的に工夫を重ねてその術を習得した。これがすなわち起倒流の柔術である。
伊藤玄沢 施薬《割書：代々御園町六丁目に住居して、長年医者のいない遠い僻地にまで丸薬・散薬等を製造して広く施してきたが、国君がこれをお聞きになり》《割書：宝暦五年乙亥十二月より毎年薬種料を賜わり、なお子孫に至るまでいよいよ広く施薬せよとの仰せを受け、今に至るまで絶えず施している。近頃は雲水や巡礼、或いは六部・非人などに聞き伝えられ》《割書：近国はもとより遠国辺境まで伝手を求めて施薬を乞う、実に奇特なことである。なお屋上に看板を掲げている。その文を以下に記して窮民の便りとする》

《割書：右はその身が非常に貧しくて病気の節に頼るところもなく、薬を用いることも思うままにならない人に、近来薬を施してきました。しかし、この度上からも薬種料のご恵みをいただき》《割書：ましたので、いよいよ遠慮なく施薬を望む病人は参るべきです。そのうち大病あるいは歩行かなわない病人で近いところへは見舞いに参ります。遠方で診ることが》《割書：できない者も詳しく様態を聞き、様子次第で薬を与えます。但し右の通りの貧者で施薬を頼みに来る場合においては、小児の患い、目の患い》《割書：腫れ物の類でも療治いたします》《割書：雲水の出家衆並びに他国の巡礼・修行者の類もまた施薬いたしますので、療治を望む方はお越しあるべきです》

When Yuanbin was staying at Kokushoji Temple in Azabu, Edo, there were three ronin named Fukuno Shichiro Uemon, Isogai Jiro Zaemon, and Miura Yoji Uemon who were also lodging at the same temple. Yuanbin told them, "In the Ming Dynasty (China), there are techniques for capturing people. Let me show you these skills." The three men eventually perfected their training and mastered these techniques. This became the Kitō-ryū jujutsu.
Itō Gensaku - Medical charity《Small text: For generations residing in Misono-machi 6-chōme, he has long manufactured pills and powders and widely distributed them even to remote areas without doctors. He has continued this practice without interruption to this day. 《Small text: This is for those who are extremely poor and have nowhere to turn when ill, and cannot afford medicine as they wish. We have recently been providing medicine to such people. For serious illnesses or patients who cannot walk, we will make house calls to nearby locations.
