lit, and numerous torches are arranged inside and outside the Kaizō Gate. Mr. Baba purifies the path by sprinkling salt water, and Mr. Ōmori takes willow branches and proceeds along the path. On both sides of the divine offering chests, each person carries torches to illuminate the way, and all shrine attendants are in full attendance, seated in rows in the worship hall. This divine festival occurs twice yearly and is also called the "Two Seasonal Grand Festivals." These are namely the Kinen Festival and the Niiname Festival.
