Ancient records of Ikuji Shiogama
According to the Engi Daizen-shiki:
For the Five Buddhas of the central dais of Tōji Temple, the left side's
Five Bodhisattvas and the right side's Five Wisdom Kings,
as offerings: Ikudō salt, five gō and seven shaku daily,
seaweed six ryō, smooth seaweed
twelve ryō, unfermented soy sauce four gō and
five shaku, soy sauce one gō and five shaku.
The above: every year before December,
calculate the number of days for the coming year and report to the government to carry this out.
