塩尻より
今日神前に舞台を設けて、雅楽師がこれを務める。警備の諸隊列が階上や広い庭に控えて、威儀を厳かにしている。（以下略）貴賎を問わず参詣を許されている。
実にその作法があって参詣することでございますが、今は諸社の例に準じて、その制約がないことこそ、誠に尊いことと思われます。（以下略）

From Shiojiri:
Today a stage is set up before the deity, and court musicians perform their duties. The various security formations are stationed on the steps and in the spacious courtyard, maintaining solemn dignity. (abbreviated) People of all social ranks are permitted to visit and worship.
Indeed, there are proper protocols for worship, but nowadays, following the example of other shrines, the absence of such restrictions is truly something to be revered. (abbreviated)
