一按に松雲公の時能古写には越中三郡之儀者
孫四郎名付に折紙を所望之儀是又如何様共貴殿
次第に存候と阿りて其趣意甚異なり
関屋政春の古兵談に所＿レ載之豊太閤朱印書写
廿五日至尓亀山帰陣仕之由に候此中各苦労共候
仍当表事越中倶利伽羅峠に馬を立先勢東は立山
うばたうつるきの山能麓迄令放火候処に木舩守山増山以
下所々敗北候付て内蔵助令降参信雄を相頼
外山之居城を相渡当陣所へ走入候条命
之儀令赦免候即今日外山城へ可相移否被思召
芹谷野まて相越候お外山越後長尾可出仕之由に
候条お彼地可請有之右之分候間太刀も刀も
ふ入躰に候間可心安候今五三日令在陣国中諸
城之物主相付置目等申付頓可納馬候然は此方へ可罷越
之由申上候早人数も不入候間無用候慥可得其意也

一、按ずるに、松雲公の時の古い写本には「越中三郡の儀は孫四郎名付に折紙を所望の儀、これまたいかようとも貴殿次第に存じ候」とあり、その趣意は甚だ異なっている。
関屋政春の古兵談に載せられた豊太閤朱印書の写し：
二十五日に亀山へ帰陣仕った由に候。この間各々苦労であった。よって当表の事、越中倶利伽羅峠に馬を立て、先勢は東は立山・雄峰・剣の山の麓まで放火させたところ、木舟・守山・増山以下の所々が敗北した。これに付いて内蔵助（佐々成政）が降参し、信雄を頼みとして外山の居城を差し出し、当陣所へ走り込んできた条件で、命の儀を赦免した。すなわち今日外山城へ移るべきかどうか思し召し、芹谷野まで越してきた。外山越後長尾が出仕すべき由に候条、彼の地で受けるべきである。右の分であるから、太刀も刀も不入りの体であるから心安く候。今五三日在陣させ、国中諸城の物主を相付け置く目録等を申し付け、頓に納馬候。然らばこちらへ罷り越すべき由申し上げ候。早く人数も不要であるから無用候。確かにその意を得るべきである。

1. Upon examination, the old manuscript from Lord Shoun's time states: "Regarding the matter of the three districts of Etchu, concerning the request for official documents in Magoichiro's name, this too shall be entirely according to your wishes." The meaning differs greatly from the previous version.

On the 25th, we returned to camp at Kameyama. Everyone has endured hardships during this time. Regarding the current campaign, we positioned horses at Kurikara Pass in Etchu, and our advance forces set fires eastward to the foothills of Mount Tate, Obatake, and Mount Tsurugi. As a result, Kifune, Moriyama, Masuyama, and other locations suffered defeats. Consequently, Naizo-no-suke (Sassa Narimasa) surrendered, relying on Nobuo's mediation, surrendered his residence at Toyama, and fled to our camp, whereupon we granted him clemency for his life. We are now considering whether he should move to Toyama Castle today, and have advanced as far as Seriya-no. Since Toyama Echigo Nagao is to serve, he should be received at that location. Given these circumstances, there is no need for swords or blades, so you may be at ease. We shall remain encamped for another few days, arrange the appointments of castle lords throughout the province, and promptly conclude the campaign. Then we shall return to our side as reported. Since troops are no longer needed quickly, they are unnecessary. You should certainly understand this intention.
