られたりき。御領は封国加恩の年月等、有沢氏が領分次第、富田氏が本封叙次考に甚だ詳らかにその顛末を書き載せたり。然れどもまた各々雅意に任せたる故なりけん、事実に齟齬する節々もなきにあらず。考證は古文書に如かじと、彼の織田家このかた幕府の朱印書等、としごろ謄写をし、古文書共を集録して聊か考按を加え、後人の参考となしぬ。

Regarding the domains, the years and months of territorial grants, Arisawa's territorial succession records, and Tomita's original domain succession studies contain very detailed accounts of these circumstances. However, since each was written according to the author's individual intentions, there are also some discrepancies with the actual facts. For verification, nothing surpasses ancient documents, so I have been transcribing documents such as the vermillion seal certificates from the Oda house to the shogunate, collecting these ancient documents together and adding some examination and analysis to serve as reference for future generations.

Regarding the matter of Echizen Province, have Shibata take responsibility for most of it. As for the two or three men, since they have been assigned to both armies as Shibata's inspectors, Shibata's side shall report on their good and bad conduct. The most important thing is to exercise judgment so that they cooperate with each other. Private favoritism shall be considered misconduct.
