場の妨げとして能登の地をもって拠点とした。旧藩田地方記に記載され、三州志では十三年としている。平次が考えるに、温故維録に記載されている能州塩釜納所方定書には左のように記載がある。
一、千三百四十一貫七百二十文 塩釜残高
三十一貫三百二十文 そら村 土方分
三十貫二百二十文 かなみ村 同
十六貫七百文 まいき村 同
以上七十八貫二百四十文
慶長十年より土方殿へ渡す
この定書は実に慶長年中の筆記である。これに拠れば、分与は慶長十一年あるいは十三年にかかわるものではない。
一、慶長十年六月二十八日、利長卿が隠居し、加賀能登両国と越中砺波射水婦負三郡を世子へ譲り、新川一郡は養老領とし、富山に在城した後、高岡を居城とした。この時の証書の写しは諸記録に見当たらない。
三州志に云う。系譜を考えるに慶長十一年六月二十八日とするが、武徳大成記は六年とし、古典本は九年とし、いずれも正しくない。寛永十八年系図伝に云う「慶長十年六月二十八日家督となる」。有沢武貞が曰く、利光卿はこの頃小松に在城していた。一書に云う「慶長十年に金沢城から移る」。一説には八年に移るという。諸説が一致しない。

[Continuing from previous page] used the land of Noto as a base, citing it as an obstruction to the hunting grounds. This is recorded in the old domain's land records, and the Sanshū-shi dates it as the 13th year. According to Heiji's research, the Nōshū Shiogama tax collection office's fixed record contained in the Onko Iroku states as follows:
1,341 kan 720 mon - Shiogama remaining balance
31 kan 320 mon - Sora village - Hijikata portion
30 kan 220 mon - Kanami village - same
16 kan 700 mon - Maiki village - same
Total: 78 kan 240 mon
From Keichō 10th year, transferred to Lord Hijikata
This fixed record is indeed a document from the Keichō years. Based on this, the allocation was not related to Keichō 11th or 13th year.
One: On the 28th day of the 6th month of Keichō 10th year (1605), Lord Toshinaga retired and transferred the two provinces of Kaga and Noto, along with the three counties of Tonami, Imizu, and Nei in Etchū to his heir. Niikawa county was made into a retirement domain, and after residing at Toyama castle, he made Takaoka his residence castle. Copies of the official documents from this time are not found in various records.
The Sanshū-shi states: "Examining the genealogy, it was the 28th day of the 6th month of Keichō 11th year," but the Butoku Taisei-ki states it was the 6th year, and classical texts state it was the 9th year - none of these are correct. The Kan'ei 18th year genealogical record states: "Keichō 10th year, 6th month, 28th day - succeeded as head of family." Arisawa Takesada said that Lord Toshimitsu was residing at Komatsu around this time. One document states "moved from Kanazawa castle in Keichō 10th year." Another theory says he moved in the 8th year. Various theories do not agree.
