川原のことゆえ道に迷い、実に難渋する人が多くおります件は相違ございません。つきましては、最早講中の自力では困難となり、別紙の通り操り芝居興行を願い上げ、奇進として銀子を取り集め、諸人の助勢をもって石灯籠を建て立て、先年の通り常夜灯を灯したく存念いたします件、相違ございません。よって右の段、内々実情を承り合わせ候運びとなり、有り姿を書付をもって申し上げ奉ります。以上

Since it is a riverbed area, many people lose their way and truly experience great hardship - there is no doubt about this matter. Therefore, as the religious association's own resources are no longer sufficient, we humbly request permission to hold a puppet theater performance as outlined in the separate document, and through collecting silver coins as donations and with the assistance of all people, we wish to erect a stone lantern and light a permanent night lamp as in previous years - there is no doubt about our intentions in this matter. Accordingly, regarding the aforementioned matter, having privately inquired into the actual circumstances, I respectfully submit this as it truly stands through this written statement. The above.
