用ニ仕若有合候共軽ク可出之其外万端簡略

附音信贈答之儀医師薬礼等之儀ハ各別其外

一御家中裏判借銀之儀御借米被 仰出事候ヘハ
返弁之儀只今迄之通ニハ難成事ニ候其分ニ差置
候而ハ貸主迷惑可仕候間札所ゟ御貸被成通り当
暮ゟ弐割宛之積を出し此内壱割半ハ利足ニ
用残所ハ元入ニ仕候様ニ被 仰出候間向後其趣相心
得可申事
一畢竟 上之御不勝手故右之通ニ候ヘハ面々ハ不
及申妻子等ニ至迄艱難仕取続相勤候儀此節専
要之御奉公と被 思召候間いつれも其旨を可
奉存事

御借米定書之覚
現代語訳
用いる場合は軽く出すこと。その他万事簡略にすること。
付け加えて、音信贈答の件、医師への謝礼等の件は別格として、その他の件は親類縁者であっても固く無用とすること。
一、御家中の裏判借銀の件について、御借米が仰せ出されたことであるから、返済については今まで通りというわけにはいかない。そのままにしておいては貸主が迷惑することになるので、札所から御貸しされた通り、当年の暮れから二割ずつの積もりで出し、この内一割半は利息に用い、残りは元金に充てるように仰せ出されたので、今後その趣旨を心得ること。
一、結局のところ、主君の御財政が不如意であるために右の通りであるから、各々は申すまでもなく、妻子等に至るまで困難に耐えて勤めを続けることが、この時節における専ら重要な御奉公であると思し召されるので、いずれもその旨を存じ奉ること。
右の趣旨が仰せ出された。

御借米定書の覚え

One: Regarding the guaranteed silver loans within the retainer families, since the rice loan has been proclaimed, repayment cannot continue as before. If left as is, the lenders will suffer hardship, so as per the loans made from the lending office, starting from the end of this year, payments of twenty percent should be made, with one and a half percent of this going to interest and the remainder to principal, as has been proclaimed. This principle should be understood going forward.
One: Ultimately, because of the lord's financial difficulties, the situation is as described above. Therefore, it is considered that not only each individual, but even their wives and children enduring hardship and continuing their duties constitutes the most important service at this time. Everyone should keep this in mind.
