之通御借被成候御家中も連々勝手難儀仕事
候ヘハ軽キ様ニと様々御相談候へ共兼而御不如意
候ヘハ可被遊様も無之此趣被 仰出候何とそ少も
早ク御返シ可被成 思召候事
一御借米之儀ニ付猥ニ家来江暇を出し候儀ハ此刻

の通り御借用された御家中も次々と家計が困窮しており、負担を軽くするようにと様々に御相談したが、以前から御財政が苦しいので、どうすることもできない。この趣旨を仰せ出された。何とか少しでも早く御返済されるよう思し召しである。
一、御借米の件につき軽率に家来に暇を出すことは、この時期においては適切ではなく、また下の者が迷惑することになる。もっとも今まで通り全員を抱え続けることは困難であるから、少々は減らし、なおその他の事柄についてはどのようにでも簡略化し、節約できる限りは召し抱え置くべきである。上下一様の事情であるから、給分等を減らすことについて、身分が低い者であっても何かと申し立てる者があってはならない。
付け加えて、三百石以上並びに役料を下され置かれた面々は、その高百石分をもって必ず馬を所持すること。
